It took me a bit to understand how to install this. You do not use the metal base plate supplied by NEST instead, click the NEST doorbell into this wedge. Your NEST doorbell clicks, and there is a hole on the bottom to release the doorbell if needed. The NEST 15-degree wedge attaches the back to the vertical wedge; that is how I am using it. Using the Airtech provides a better view of the ground near our door. See pictures of with; see more of the floor mat; without it, see less of the floor mat. Note that my original installation was done using washers on the top to provide a makeshift wedge, but this is much better and looks good. I recommend the AirTech Vertical Wedge for the NEST Doorbell Wired.

This vertical wedge works as expected and fits very well. Its color also matches that of a Google Nest Hello. 5 stars for purpose and fitment Minus 1 star for the unknown goo on its packaging (see attached photo). It’s clean inside the packaging though
