It serves the purpose. When it is turned off it disconnects the connection. Great product.

This is a switch (kind of a like a lamp switch that you use to turn the lamp on/off) for USB devices. It has a USB female connector on one end and a male connector on the other end. It's not complicated, and it works. I use it to turn on/off a wifi router that is powered by a USB cable. Pros - It works as expected! - Ok price - Decent length Cons - Not the most aesthetic This is a very basic USB mechanical on/off switch, it looks low-end but it works great.

Fixes the issue perfectly This solved the problem with the USB port in my 2022 Nissan Frontier staying powered on continuously. It also still allows data to pass through, so everything works as expected. Now I don’t have to keep unplugging my device every time I get out of the truck. Simple fix and highly recommended.

It works as advertised. Cable looks robust. it allows to shutdown or "disconnect" devices without removing the device from the USB port.
