I used one of the cutters in a Dremel set to a high speed to round and smooth about 80 welds in a steel railing. Perfectly smooth welds remain, with no noticeable wear on the cutter. Lovely!BE CAREFUL. Use PPE, including good, tight-fitting eye protection, leather gloves, a mask, and clean up everything before you move on. A strong magnet is recommended for sweeping the entire work area.Dangerous micro-shards of metal fly everywhere. OMG. They were on my bench, the floor, my clothes, and in my hands as well. They are tiny, almost too small to see, and they hurt. Tweezers and bright light are needed to track them down and remove fingers. If you get one of these tiny slivers in your eye, your trip to the emergency room will slow down your project considerably.Do gloves help? Yes, but the shards find you later. Scrupulously clean all work surfaces and sweep the area with a magnet. The shards will never magically go away.
