Each small wooden spoon is polished and painted. The sealant we use on these products is non-toxic and harmless.They may have a little taste，please soak them in hot soapy water before using .

Where are these spoons made?

They are made of lightweight wood or maybe bamboo. Something wood-like. The finish is very smooth and slippery. I use one for serving loose salt from a salt cellar. It's a bit too slippery. Not like wooden cooking utensils which usually don't have a sealed coating.
