Works well
For the price this gun rest worked well. I used it to sight in 3 red dots on my hand guns out to 50yds. It's light weight, sturdy, and adjustable, good price. I personally would buy it again.

Sized Right & Stable
Great asset for zeroing handguns. Lite construction making it easy to move & store. Zeroed my buddy’s Taurus .44 Raging Hunter & 10mm Smith & Wesson handguns securely w/out issues. It’s a keeper piece of gear.

Gets the job done
Its made in China, get over it. More things sold here will be made there just like more things from here will be sold there. Asian quality can be sketchy but remember early Japanese cars and how they are now; just inspect stuff and buy where you can send it back for free, like Amazon Prime. And yes it is thin plastic; I wouldn't say flimsy but definitely lightweight. The advantage to this is that it comes apart and fits into my range bag, sets up instantly and doesn't weigh me down. It is also less than $20! So after three range trips shooting CZ 75BD; Colt 1911 and Beretta 92FS (.45 and 9mm) I think it gets the job done. It settles a little through the middle when you first rest your gun and arms on it but it sinks down about the same each time and then stays there. A piece of wood across midships would stiffen it but it actually works fine as is. The height adjustment is precise and stays where you set it and the hand rest adjusts fore and aft enough to fit most barrel lengths. The cradle seems fine, just be careful to keep the muzzle ahead of the cushion so it doesn't get blasted (or the forcing cone on a revolver for the same reason.) Once set up, I could remount the pistols after each shot and have the same sight picture. The gun jumps from recoil (as with any rest) but the rest itself doesn't change settings. I'm not sure this is the tool for 454 Casull or S&W 500 mag; but it works for most pistol calibers. I think light rifles would be OK too but I haven't tried that yet. Four stars because it is light plastic and does flex some but overall a fine rest for occasional use at a price that doesn't hurt at all.

Too inexpensive?
When a person enteres competitive shooting they soon learn that price tags on accessories goes way up. So when I viewed this inexpensive, plastic pistol rest I was skeptical because it didn’t cost enough. But I thought, buying on Amazon is safe because if it’s junk I can return it easy enough.A pistol rest for me must adjust vertically and horizontally, be stable and easy to adjust. This rest is all that in a lightweight design. I am using it to sight in red dot sights on various pistols and switch models and sizes often looking for that manic match up that just works. The rest held my full size CZ Shadow II well and made dialing in the Trijicon SRO a breeze. The Sig P365XL wasn’t quite so easy because if it’s diminutive size but that was more an issue of it’s small, short frame and my big fat hands but still, it allowed me to dial in very well just with less comfort. Not everything needs to break the bank to do the job, this product does it well and I paid less than $20.

Too light!
This is a great idea and it does work. However, it is very light and a bit unstable. It's made of basic plastic and you really have to secure it good if you want accuracy.

Wonderful inexpensive fantastic gun rest.
I am not an incredible marksman. I just purchased a 2021 HK VP9 9mm match and a new Trijicon SRO 3. I wanted to zero in the SRO red dot so I purchased the gun rest after looking at some YouTube on the Pistolero. The first few targets I threw away, this is the 4th target and it is ‘almost perfect’ and my wife was so surprised at 15 yards she was able to get a bullseye. With the Pistolero it was easy, fun and you can see the results. This gun rest is simple to put together, easy to adjust on the range, it did not get close to breaking and I did not have to make it more sturdy. Moreover, my wife and I had fun and she learned to improve her shots. In fact, we both think it is a better teaching aid than dummy rounds or lessons. My wife learned to control the 9 mm faster, worked on her trigger control better and she wants to practice with the PISTOLERO gun rest in the future. This is so reasonable everyone learning should buy one or anyone wanting to have a perfect red zero. We were both glad about the purchase and my wife is looking forward to practicing with it in the future. Absolutely a great simple and inexpensive purchase. We both strongly recommend the Pistolero and what a great name, my wife has come up with new nicknames for me! Get this inexpensive reasonable adjustable gun rest. This is 5*****.
