Thicker than i imagined. At the start, it would get untied as i rolled with my classmates, but it stayed more tied longer the more i rolled to get the stiffness of the belt out. Not sure if this is the norm for thicker belts, (i usually received the ones from my dojo and they were thinner) I love the color.
