It does not use VeryFitPro app. I purchased because someone said it did, which is what my last watch used. I had to install a new app -InxFit Would have been nice to know…

How do you charge it? On a dock?

No it had a charging cord to plug into computer. I tried it with a USB charger in the wall, but works much better on a USB plug on computer. Great watch.
