Lee Precision Commercial Mold Handles, Black, One Size (LP90005)

Good quality material, good sturdy metal. Because mine had a little surface rust on it handles are nice. I also use the handles to tap down. My shotgun loads fits perfect in a 12 gauge. Definitely makes handling the mold a lot better than beating on it with the stick and everything else. They also work for the Lymon mold and are about $30 cheaper.

These mold handles work on many other bullet mold makes (including custom) at a more economical price than most others. They are sturdy and well made, I have several I've used on many molds for over 20 years.

Lee handles are the most cost effective alternative on the market I have found. I have used them for years on every brand of mold I have (particularly NOE and MP-molds) and they have held up. Just a shame that they are no longer $10-$12 apiece thanks to bidenomics

These are solidly constructed handles that should last for many years. With my Lee molds, I do not have to beat on the center bolt to get the bullets to drop. I think this will aide in adding to the longevity of the handles. Here's some more in-depth thoughts: Pros: - I felt that the price for these handles is reasonable. I wish Lee would just include these with the molds and not require you to purchase them separately. I bet that they do this so you can switch between molds and not have to own separate handles. But they do include the handle on the sprue plate... Go figure. - The wood handles don't heat up with the molds, so your hands are effectively insulated from the high temperatures of the mold. Cons: - One of the wood handles on one set keeps falling off while I'm casting. I have to take a pair of vice grips and knock them back on. I wish that the wood part were pinned onto the handle to keep them from backing off the frame of the handles. I think this could be a safety issue, should it happen with a mold full of hot lead. This only happens on one set of handles, and is probably a fluke. I will contact Lee and see what they say. I'll update this if anything major comes from this conversation. Overall, I really like these handles. They work awesome with the 6-cavity Lee molds. I haven't used them with any other types/brands of molds. I totally recommend these. I did remove one star for the handle problem with that one set. I hope I have helped your purchasing decision of this product.
