Does the job
I needed to file and sort a large amount of paper and this did the trick. I put it into my portable file carrier and I love that it expands. Its durable, its some kind of plastic. I'm hoping it will last a long time.

Exactly as described
I ordered those hanging folders for school. Very practical. I use one for each class to store daily assignments. So far they are holding up well. I would like to see more colors.

Expandable ?
These are sturdy, well made file folders. But, they don't expand as much as I thought they would, or hold as many files as I would have liked.

Easy Fit
These folders easily fit a regular letter size file cabinet. They are made very sturdy and expands to place a lot of materials. I will purchase more in the coming months.

Even the hooks/claws that the folders hang from are VERY thin plastic
I dislike these more than any file folder I have ever seen. I have never even seen a hanging file folder that the hooks the folder hangs from are made of plastic. I have only seen this part of a file folder made from metal in the past no matter what the folder itself is made from. I have seen the folders come both in plastic/poly and a thick cardstock material but both versions prior to this the hooks have always been made from metal. These file folders are supposed to expand to 3 inches but when the hooks are the thin plastic that they are they cannot hold the weight of that much paper. Instead they bow and bend with that much weight under them. The hooks are also retractable . So the hooks do not go all the way across the top of the folder. This also makes the hooks weaker and further lowers the ability of the hooks to hold the weight of the file especially if it is full. The whole reason I ordered poly folders is because I know paper is heavy so cardstock will not hold up with a lot of paper in it (as large quantities of paper is heavy). Heavy enough that the hooks on these folders don't hold that much paper. To the designers of this product I say do better it doesn't take a genius to figure this out. To the sellers you may want to consider adding this information to the description because these are not durable, sturdy, or functional.
