I have a FortiVoice (Fortinet) FVC-40 that suffered an AC Adapter failure. Tried to get one through the manufacturer but couldn't get the part. Couldn't find anyone who sold a replacement nor could I find a part number equivalent. IF YOU NEED AN FVC-40 POWER ADAPTER - This one works perfectly!Specs call for an 18v 1.5A with barrel connector (positive inside) - This fit the bill perfectly.Would recommend this to others. Did come with US power cable. Worked perfectly right out of the box. Zero complaints. Contrary to another review I read, this DID provide full 18 volts DC at ~1.5 amps.

I love my replacement transformer. It was recommended to me from a service technician from Insignia ( Best Buy ).. I had lost my transformer for my Blue Tooth speaker... Amazing, he outsourced to Amazon because Best Buy did not have any in stock. Kudos to the service tech in Mexico for his recommendation... Works well and I love it. I got my tunes back ..

I purchased this transformer to use for a power supply for an LED work light that I own. It was an "experiment" that worked out well. The power supply had no problem powering the LED load that was about 1/2 of the transformers capacity. It is a good value for the money. Keep in mind that this is a DC output, and is made to power only 12 volt loads.

The price is right and the unit seems to work as advertised. I only gave 4 checks because of the arcing when you plug it in. There is a surge when it is first plugged in. This is probably due to large filter capacitors on the input rectifier. Under normal use this would make no difference but I bought the item to power an led light assembly and wanted to put an on off switch on the power line side. The arcing will chew up a switch in short order. Other than that the unit works fine.

Needed this replaced for my LED face mask, because the original plug that came with it was having problems staying on due to the wires. I only had this product for maybe about two weeks until I saw the same exact wire problem happen again, disappointed that this didn’t last long. I did order a replacement so I’m hoping maybe it was just a faulty batch of plug that I received.

I’m using this to power some LED yard lights, and it works perfectly. It’s not waterproof, but keep it away from water and all is good.

Works as described

Sturdy little power supply with a decently thick cord. Unfortunately I forgot to check the polarity and had to return as it was opposite for my pedalboard. If you need a strong power supply for a pedal board, MXR makes a great one with a much thicker cable.
