My super picky son was recommended by a nutritionist to start taking fish oil. This does not smelly fishy at all; it smells like oranges! My son takes it with no issues at all.

I was looking for something to help with my 7 yr old sons hyperactivity but was absolutely not going to put him on medication. He was getting in trouble at school constantly, principals office and all. I had started him on the Feingold Diet (no artificial ingredients, dyes, etc.) about a month ago and it was helping but wanted to add omega 3 because I've heard it helps as well. I just had a parent teacher conference today at school and his teacher said he is like a totally different child, especially in the past two weeks (which is when I started the Carlson's Fish Oil). His teacher is absolutely amazed at the transformation. I don't know if it was the diet, the fish oil, or a combination of both, but it is working wonders for my son. He has no problem taking it, I just gave him some and he said "yummy!" I've tried it myself and it has a slight lemon flavor and that is it, no fish taste at all, I was surprised. I seen where other reviewers said it tasted bad but I shake mine up very well before giving it, maybe that helps, I'm not for sure. This is a value for money product . I personally take it instead of taking fish oil capsules. I know this is in the trigylecride form which is like the natural form found actually in fish, The taste is great and there isn't the slightest fishy taste or smell, next thing I will try giving it to my daughter , hope she likes it.It organizes my bowel movement and improves my mood , not sure if it can compete with cod liver oil in terms of hormonal balance but i use it with cod liver oil alternately and my cycles couldn't be better. My daughter is okay also with taste , i give it to her like three times a week and she is fine with it and i have noticed she is more focused and stable , less edgy while taking it .. the taste is perfect she is not very impressed with it but is not refusing to take it which is an achievement to me.. she just says it is too lemony mammy...:)Edit : my daughter stopped taking it , she now hates the taste . It is not the product's mistake yet I am taking a star out , I still insist she takes it prior to her term exams and reward her by giving her a cookie or a chocolate when she does. I do that cause I reaaly noticed that this fish oil really improves her concentration .
