This is my first countertop ice maker, so I don't know how it compares to others, but I think this one is good! I use mini cubes in my blender everyday, so it was definitely getting old having to refill and empty trays so frequently. Now I can just fill the machine with water, push a button, set a timer, and boom! Ice for days! 😁 They are bigger than the mini ice I normally use, but they still work much better than normal sized cubes. The bucket does fill before the water runs out, and I wish it had an alarm or something rather than just changing color, but again, just set a timer to empty it, easy! My only real complaint is the ice size LED not turning off when it's set to anything other than default. And it didn't even occur to me that I would need an ice pick, since they're a bit wet going into the freezer, they all clump... 😆

We bought this because we don't have an ice machine in our fridge and my boyfriend loves cold drinks, and he was having his 2nd hip replacement in a month and we needed an abundance of ice. For the price point we figured if it worked half as well as others said we would be happy. set-up was easy, and maintaining is just as easy. It is an ice maker, not a freezer. Ice will melt after awhile if you just leave it in the machine without it on. Since we needed so much ice we started emptying the ice into a cooler for later use. We basically ran this thing almost 20 hours a day for a month. it worked PERFECT! Surgery was beginning of April 2022, it is now mid July and we still use it every day for drinks and cocktails. We start it in the morning and let it run all day so we have ice water, and then cold drinks in the evening. Even for parties it seemed to make enough ice. We normally don't leave reviews but this machine has greatly exceeded our expectations. We would recommend this machine over a $500+ machine any day!!!

Don't purchase this item!! Worked perfectly for 31 days, after that time, it started making noises, small noises at first, as the days went along it started making shreeking noises while making ice, ice was still perfectly clear, which wasn't the problem. I finally had to move the machine out to my utility room, just so we could watch TV, I contacted amazon, to return it for another one, but since it is beyond my 30 day return policy, I would need to contact the seller, I did contact the seller, which has not gotten back to me.. So with that being said, do NOT purchase this item !!!!! TY Dave...

First, this unit comes with a sticker saying allow the unit to stay upright for 24 hours. This is a very good idea as FedEx delivered our unit upside down. We reached out to Euhomy about this and they responded very quickly and generously. After the 24 hours, we opened up the unit. The problem with the packaging is there was packing tape on the decorative front side of the unit. Taking the tape off left adhesive which took a long time with alcohol wipes to clean off. Euhomy should package their units so the packing tape is on the bottom of the unit nobody will see. Make sure to remove all the tape which secures the unit during shipping, it's in a lot of places. Next I cleaned the unit and filled it with water so it would start making ice. I noticed then the unit made a rather high pitched noise. I figured out this was caused by the small protection cage on the outside of the fan. Putting my finger lightly on the cage stopped the noise so I got a small piece of tape and taped the cage to the side of the unit. This stopped the noise but now there is a piece of tape on the side of the unit. Our unit is black so I used black electrical tape so it is not very noticeable. The unit now has been running several days. It makes ice quickly and looks very nice.

Starts making ice very quickly. I have not had very long but can not say anything but good things about product even though some of the reviews were not very positive.

This is my 3rd ice maker from this mfg. I previously ordered EUHOMY Countertop Ice Maker Machine with... Size: 11.57"D x 11.42"W x 8.74"H twice!!! When that 2nd one failed I was done with trying ice makers. I looked back on Amazon and found this one. Although it is same mfg., double the price, I tried it. PEOPLE ,buy this one!!!!! It makes beautiful customised ice, big ice bin, timers, auto on auto off it has everything I didn’t know I needed!! I was ready to GIVE UP on THIS BRAND, but instead bought one step up and it was sooo worth it. This is the best countertop ice maker. 👏👏👏👏

My husband and I have wanted to buy an ice making machine for some time now but just haven't had the money to spare! Finally we had a little extra so we did some comparison shopping, looked at ratings, reviews and finally cost and chose this one,! What a great choice! It is realitively quite, makes a bunch of ice (26 lbs a day), does not smell, and most of all it's easy to operate! You have to clean the whole thing to start but after that it's smooth sailing from there! So if you need an ice machine that produces more then you can use for your day this one is gonna fit the bill nicely!

This product performs exactly as described. The larger size, crescent shaped ice cubes are superior to bullet and nugget cubes made by other ice makers. For medium sized cubes, an ice making cycle lasts about 15 minutes and makes 12 cubes. Since the ice bucket that catches the ice cubes is not refrigerated, it is recommended to empty the bucket into a container in your freezer every 1-2 cycles to avoid some melting if the ice cubes.
