I bought this to replace the one I had, not because it was broken but because it was looking shabby after many many years and the paint had started peeling, the new model is stylish , pretty duck egg blue and feels even better quality than the last one. I did see a review saying it's good for disabled people but I find it quite heavy so I disagree that it is. I am happy and hope it lasts as long as the previous one.

Lovely kettle, quality item and looks really classy and had a guage so you can see how much water is in it . Worked well at first, quiet to boil and easy to clean. However today the switch off facility didn't work when I bought it to the boil.

Great kettle, boils quickly and should not chip or mark as previous coloured have done.

Overall I love it and would recommend with a couple of small reservations. If you’re focused mainly on looks and also want good performance at a great price, this is the one for you. However if you need an easy to read fill level you might be best trying a different model. Pros: Quality sturdy build. Looks expensive. Really nice finish that doesn’t show fingerprints and is easy to wipe down. After a slightly loud start, once it gets going it’s really quiet. Lovely clean pour. Great looking. Feels speedy to me, but I haven’t timed it. I like that it has a white light to indicate it’s on, rather than the blue light on some others. Cons: Really hard to read the fill level because it’s flush to the main body of the kettle and has a dark background colour. I’m getting used to measuring by feel now but it’s a bit annoying initially. Lid a bit tight so I’m filling via the spout. Graphic on lid is incongruous and detracts from the look.

Doesn’t deserve 1 star, noisy, quite heavy and takes time to boil. Wouldn’t recommend this kettle
