I haven’t used this yet but I have 2 problems with this so far. I got 2 different style U bolts and the one style split open using the cheesy wrench that came with it so I had to run to the hardware store to get a new one. The other issue I have is the Amazon posting says that this is good for 280lbs but the paperwork that came with it said not to exceed 200. While this shouldn’t be a big issue I picked this particular one because of the higher weight capacity. I’ll update review after using for a while. I’m hoping it works as well as its reviewed* update *After replacing the U bolts from the hardware store there are some things I like about this. The rope handle is nice and holding up well after quite a few uses and the pully that came with it seems pretty solid and is quite while using. Also I haven’t had any issues with the cable pulling apart it like some had. I don’t know if this is because of the replaced U bolts or the other people who had issues didn’t tighten it up good enough. Over all everything works fine but I haven’t really tested its weight Capacity too much. Over all it’s ok but I’m not so sure I would buy it if I had to do it over again.I did however just receive an email from the company who told me they changed manufacturers to try to address some of the issues I wrote about and then offered me $20 to delete my review. Instead I’ve changed it to 3 stars instead of 2 because it still isn’t rated for the weight it was advertised as but if your not going to go over 200lbs with it it should be fine

Having set up a FR 810xlt cage for our garage gym, the next step was adding some pulldown solution -- this turned out to be a nice alternative to the full pulldown rack attachment (which is either unavailable or unreasonably marked up).I purchased the kit that comes with the 2in olympic plate adapter, rope, and short straight bar. All the attachments were good quality. I was most impressed by the pully itself which is so far very smooth, silent, and swivels easily. Have only tried it with a single 45lb plate so far and it seems plenty sturdy. Cannot yet speak to longevity, but looks good so far.Two minor complaints: the cable assembly is a bit of a pain to put together (e.g., securing the brace that goes in the loop), and I wish there was a better way to secure the excess cable to keep it out of the way.A little unhappy that the manufacturer is offering a $10 coupon now compared to when I purchased, but still a good value overall.

Was a little skeptical about these cable systems. Setting up a home gym, having a nice pulley for triceps, curls , flys, etc is necessary. This one is very good! It is weight plate loaded so when you lower the weight it may swing around, but if you control the weight it shouldn’t be an issue. It is very smooth and feels like the ones at the gym. I attached this to my squat rack pull up bar and the cable is a bit long which I may end of cutting a bit of it off.If you’re looking for an affordable cable system, this one is a very good purchase.

Finally got time to open the box and set up my home gym today. The material quality is very good as same as the big gym. I have gym membership for many years, after the pandemic, I gradually started to build a home gym. I found this set on Amazon and ordered to see how the quality is. It defiantly can handle the weigh that more than I need. It is a perfect home gym resistance training set to work on your Lat, biceps, triceps, hips…. Happy with it.

Works great for simple exercises. The adjustable pulley line is great and holds well. I bought additional attachments for pull downs, but still use the ones it came with often. Only problem I have is when the weight stack swings back at me when I lift. Also difficult to pull heavier weight without a knee support because it lifts me off the bench but that’s on me.

Well made but could use longer cable for tall ceilings. If you have a cage this will work well

I really like this pulley system. It is a great addition to our at home work out equipment. It is very easy to assemble and sturdy. The different handles make it more comfortable when switching from one workout to another.It is also very easy to transport when my friends and I work out together at their home or the park.

Great product. Very sturdy and smooth and love how my Olympic weights fit perfect. Would highly recommend if you’re wanting to add tricep push downs and rows to your workout regimen.
