For a Canned Soup BEST Around l Slow Sautéed xtra Sweet Onions Because l like my Onion Soup with Onions I put it in a Crock with a Cap of French Bread and SWISS Cheese under the Broiler for a bit and have Restaurant Quality French Onion Soup l Recommend Progresso Soup as my Choice for Canned Soup

I love these soups. I want to learn how to make onion soup. It's better if I make it with bread and cheese. I'm just glad I realized I could get them on Amazon.

This soup brand and flavor has been a favorite for over ten years! A half can makes the basis for Lunch or Dinner and always has an excellent mild flavor, reheating nicely!

Nice taste, mostly flavored water
Nice but cheese would be nice. Mostly fluid and some large diced onion chunks. Not much more satisfying than a cuppa tea. Good flavor but I'm still hungry. Would be OK if you add toast and cheese.

Could be better
I love traditional French onion soup but I do not cook now. This is a fair substitute but it could use more actual onions and more of a zest flavor. I top it with melted cheese on bread and have for breakfast.
