SMOOTH BEAUTY!
I needed a large storage box to place under our baker’s rack (in our basement). Since I couldn’t find a decent box in the exact size that I needed, I decided to make one by using some Amazon shipping boxes and the furniture boxes that came inside of it…lol.I also used a dark brown “marble” contact paper that I had purchased for another project of mine in which I made two lids for two of my older storage boxes, which I also placed in the same baker’s rack (please see attached pictures).Though the brown ‘marble’ contact paper is beautiful, it’s very shiny and being a cheaper/lower quality brand (as opposed to this one!) it wasn’t very easy to apply to paper boards without causing major mishaps and damages to it. Nevertheless, I didn’t want to waste what’s left of it, which was plenty to cover the rather large box that I made. I also didn’t want everything to be “shiny/cheap looking” so I set out to find a good solid contrasting color to go with the brown faux marble contact paper and am super glad that I came across this one!Note: I used cheap Dollar Store self adhesive contact panel to cover the box inner panels and find no need to show or discuss such here. Since it’s a storage box, I didn’t feel necessary to use better quality contact paper inside of it.Application:OBS: I didn’t use any heating tools, including around the edges and unfortunately, probably because this was the first time I made a box though I mean no excuses, I didn’t think of applying the contact paper PRIOR to putting the box together! 🤦♀️ I know, right? I was like “Hello?? Duh!!” to myself!!! 😂It didn’t help that this is a rather large rectangle box, measuring 25”L x 13”D x 10.5” H. 😩 😝Also, keep in mind that I didn’t want to have overlaying lines showing on the box outer panels. For this reason, I resolved to cut a 78” (inches) long piece of this contact paper to cover the 76” outer perimeter. Since I wanted to cover the box top border and lid with the other (brown marble) contact paper, there was no need for me to use this contact paper panels. box. So as far as measuring and cutting the width (or “height” if you will) of this paper, I cut about 9 inches, which from where I started on the top (about 3 or 4 inches under the box top border/edge), was enough to fold under the bottom panel. In other words, I cut a 78” long by 9” wide piece…and have a good amount leftover but not enough for any large project or box such as this one. Whatever you see in my pictures is what’s left in the roll. It’s only a 118” long roll.As with any peel & stick contact paper, applying this super smooth contact paper still required a bit of care and patience on my part but nothing extraordinary and certainly nothing that I’m not used to. In fact, I was already super tired from making the box and was debating whether to wait until the following day, which I didn’t…so I’m pretty happy that applying this paper to an assembled cardboard box was much easier and with much better results than I expected!Since I used cardboard panels from Amazon shipping boxes to make this box, you can imagine it wasn’t a “flat” or smooth surface hence not ideal (to say the least!) for applying contact paper on.Therefore, before I applied any contact paper to my homemade cardboard box, I covered the box panels with smooth white poster boards. I had two types of white poster boards. One type was thicker and more lustrous than the other. I assumed that the thicker poster board would work best but came to find out that I was completely wrong in my assumption. The thinner poster board actually worked best for this type of job - simply because it’s easier to fold (hello? duh to me again! 😂 ).I buy ‘thinner’ poster boards in places like the Dollar Store and Walmart. Not that it’s a choice…it’s just what they have! The box of poster board that I bought here on Amazon definitely proved better quality (thicker and more lustrous) but I only realized it’s thicker than what I buy from the Dollar Store and WM when I started working on this project!I didn’t have enough of the “thinner poster board” to cover the entire box and since I didn’t want to make a trip to the Dollar Store just to buy more poster board, I ended up having to use some of the thicker “Amazon” paper board.Note: even though the thicker paper board is also more lustrous (on one side, which is where I usually apply contact papers to), I found no difference in terms of how the contact paper stuck to it.The only difference I found between the two types of poster boards (thicker x thinner) was “the ease x difficulty” in which to fold it - because I also didn’t want to cut several poster board panels hence had to fold the poster board panels around the box corners. Besides trying to make a sturdy enough box (to hold things like Christmas lights, pine cones, etc), I wanted to make as “even/smooth” corners as possible. Not only thinner poster board is easier to fold but it also proved good enough quality to keep from forming wrinkles in its folds (over the box 4 corners), it also stuck well to the cardboard panels while I used regular Scotch packaging/box tape.In terms of appearance and how the contact papers stuck to either type of poster board, it made absolutely no difference whether the poster board was thick or thin or lustrous and non lustrous (matte/opaque) surface. You can see this in one of my pictures here, where I show the front panel on which I used the thinner poster board that I purchased from the Dollar Store and one of the side panels, on which I used the thicker poster board which I purchased from an Amazon seller. To except for one large air bubble which formed just as I was applying the last two inches overlay of this contact paper (on the outer panel which I obviously planned to be the back side of this box), I encountered no problems and no major mishaps during application. In fact, it was a lot easier and rendered much better results than I expected.By the way, it was pretty easy to eliminate the rather large air bubble. I simply used the palm of my hand to push it towards the paper edge. I sometimes use pins to poke contact paper where air bubbles form but quite frankly, I avoid such thing as I rather keep from poking holes in contact paper. It’s much easier solution to air bubbles but holes in stretched contact paper isn’t something I trust as “ideal”, especially overtime.Despite the extended roll forming plenty wrinkles or as I call it “bumpy waves” (also shown in my pictures here) which is something I often experience when dealing with various types of self adhesive contact papers, in this case such thing did NOT affect the application process or the end result, meaning, no wrinkles formed as I pressed this contact paper against the paper board covered assembled box, which all things considered, is truly outstanding! This is definitely the thickest and smoothest contact paper I’ve ever purchased!I absolutely love how smooth and beautiful this paper is. I can’t testify to longevity and how well it’ll stick but since this is “contact paper on paper”, I doubt I’ll find this “peeling off” on its own. I’ll definitely update this review in case I find otherwise “down the road”.It’s absolutely beautiful taupe color and exactly as seen on pictures here! It’s just as I wanted and needed it to be. It contrasts perfectly against the much shinier and darker color of the “faux marble” contact paper.Though not a lustrous/shiny contact paper, this contact paper isn’t 100% matte (flat). It has a bit of luster…but nothing that reflects light, which as far as I’m concerned, is far more appealing (gives a more elegant look) and was definitely ideal to my project because not only it contrasts well against the dark brown color but also against the super shiny of the marble contact paper.Thought I think it’s reasonably priced, I wouldn’t want to pay more than what I paid here for this size roll and solid color contact paper.I deducted one star because of limited roll sizes and lack of color options in different roll sizes.Lack of options is always a major issue to this consumer here.To me, when it comes to product limitations and forcing consumers to get whatever is available, the loss isn’t just on consumers but also on manufacturers, sellers, stores, and online retail platforms!I just purchased two more rolls of the same color but depending on this second purchase (hopefully the color will be the same and as good quality as my first roll!!), I plan on buying more in different colors to use in future projects. This is absolutely gorgeous, easy to work with “smooth beauty” contact paper at fair price so yes, I do recommend it!

Different colors equals different results
I wanted a textured contact paper to cover the metal on my older desk at work (a school). I originally ordered it in grey pink. However, the package, while marked grey pink, was more like the light pink. I wanted the more mauve look of the grey pink, but I liked how the paper looked and decided to keep/use it instead of returning it. It had a very strong adhesive and was tricky putting it on by myself, but it looked really good.I decided, after about a week, that I wanted a darker color after all. I ordered this paper again, but this time in purple. The color was perfect and worked with my other decorations better than the pink did, so I covered my desk (going over the pink, as I did not want to deal with removing it). While I was impressed with the color, I was not impressed with the paper itself. The pink would have gotten five stars all the way for everything (despite not being the right shade). The purple deserves maybe three stars. It's thinner, tears easily, and lacks adhesiveness. I bought a long roll so I could use it throughout the classroom for other projects (like covering part of a white board to make important information, like the bell schedule, stick out) but it barely sticks to anything so I don't know how much I will actually use.I recommend this product, but be warned that you may get different results depending on which color you choose.

Pretty Color, Creases Easily
I attempted to wallpaper the inside of my kitchen cabinets in my camper. I didn't get to finish the project, but that was more fault of my own than of the product. I found it difficult to plan out outlet holes without creasing the entire piece of wallpaper. Having wallpapered other cabinets now, though, I feel like I would have better success if I were to reattempt this project. A grid is provided to help with measurements and cutting pieces to size. However, due to the amount of creasing within the design, all of the product purchased couldn't have been used. I purchased enough to wallpaper the inside of each cabinet once, with minimal excess. This meant as soon as I messed up one cabinet, I couldn't finish the project. This wouldn't deter me from purchasing this product again though, as I still find the color very pretty and would still enjoy having this color on the inside of my cabinets. I would also like to note there is a slightly raised/bumpy texture across the design of the wallpaper. I would provide pictures, but I have nothing to show for my efforts.

Love this
All my furniture is painted wood. I have two cats who will find a way to get on the tiniest corner of said furniture. They appear to only be able to LAUNCH when they want down resulting in scratching the paint. I got this peel and stick wallpaper (in several colors) and put it on the tops of my flat surfaces. It's easy to work with and I love the texture. No more cat scratches and my wood pieces look spectacular.

Make sure you get the right amount the first time...
Product is easy to use.BUT.I didn't order enough for the wall the first time I ordered (that's on me, my bad), and when I order more of the EXACT SAME PRODUCT (same seller, item, size, color [yes, even with the 2 "light green" options this seller has], everything), the product that arrived is a different texture, which makes the color look different in different lighting. Very frustrating. Guess I have to try again and hope for the lottery match of what I already have or start over and order double...

Fixed the top of a Cabinet
Ordered a cabinet off of Amazon and the top have 4 screw holes in it (bad design). So I needed something I could go over the entire top of the cabinet and make it look as if it were seamless. This worked great, I slowly adhered it to the top after ensuring the top was clean and then I slowly went around the edges with a sharp blade and trimmed up the edges. You cannot even tell this is not the original top.

Great as a drawer liner
I used this as a drawer liner for a project I was working on. With the right technique you can get a beautiful overlay, however it takes patience. Bubbles can form if you’re not careful. Scratches a bit easily, but it’s not much of a problem for me. Would buy again to line the drawers!

Cute & easy to apply
We used this to add colour to the playset we were building for our children. It was easy to install, take off and re-do. I did not find it left any sticky residue but only time will tell. It is best to cut exactly & not leave any extra paper over the edges (unless you wrap it with at least 1/2 inch over the edges) or else they will lift & catch on everything. One roll was exactly enough for the kitchen cabinets and the refrigerator of this little playset. This product came a week earlier than expected! The colour is little more “minty” than I would’ve liked, but is still nice and I like that I can change up the colour easily in the future.
