RECON ACCESS 264129Bk Brake Light Kit

Great looking light. The seal works well so far. The only issue is that my truck's keyless entry stops working while the cargo lights are on in this light. The leds are causing radio interference with the keyless entry receiver in the truck. It affects my remote start also. It is still the best looking light out there but I will have to find a fix for the interference.

Recon makes a fantastic product. This is very well made and looks slick. But in my specific case it caused an issue that made me return it. LEDs create radio interfere. As a review on here mentioned when this happens it cuts down on the distance your keyfob will work at. I had an OEM after production remote start installed. To activate you need to lock, unlock, and then lock. With thus unit I could not be more then 5 feet away from my truck because once I unlocked it and the cargo lights come the keyfob wouldn't respond again until the cargo lights went off. For this reason the light didn't work for me and I had my factory one tinted by a local shop with similar visuals and full function.For someone who doesn't have a remote start or an aftermarket with a different activation sequence this probably would work but in my instance it did not.

No complaints as of yet

Really well made product and fit perfectly on my 2020 F-150 Lariat. Comes with two plugs based on whether you have an incandescent (black) or LED (gray) third brake light from the factory. The gasket is quite thick and pushes the light about 1/8” away from the body of the truck, but should seal very well. Overall, my only complaint is the high price for the product.

Does not fit a 2020 Raptor... connectors are wrong

Plug and play. Easiest thing to install. Installed on a 2017 Ford F-150

This product does not fit the 2017 Superduty. Also tried it on my buddies 2015 F150, same results, DOES NOT FIT! THE WIRING CONNECTORS DO NOT MATCH!!!

Looks great and a very easy install. Matches my smoked recon taillights. Not as bright as stock but way better looking. Installed on 2020 Ford Raptor. You have to remove the clip in the housing of the truck in order to access the plug. A lot of people overlook that and return this
