The product arrived in poor condition, although the Amazon shipping box was without damage. The box it came in it looked like it went through a lot and had been retaped. The stand itself came covered in scratches and looked like it had been used. When I set it up I noticed it wobbling. I reached out to the company three times and got ZERO customer service. They basically accused me of lying and told me to contact Amazon and go through a return. I do not like leaving negative feedback and consider myself to be a very reasonable. This experience was surprisingly bad from start to finish. I would recommend a different stand from a different company. No stars.UPDATE: ARGH!!!! BUY ANY OTHER STAND. IT WILL NOT STAND UP STRAIGHT AND KEEPS FALLING DOWN WITH A 9FT ROLL OF PAPER ON IT. It has fallen, broken things, PERMANENTLY CAUSED MAJOR SCRATCHES on my VINTAGE HARD WOOD FLOORS. And left black marks all over my wall. My back is killing me after trying to catch it from falling. I stood there sweating for 10 minutes trying to get it to sit on the floor and not fall. A NIGHTMARE. -10 stars.

This was perfect. My husband is 6’5” and I’m 5’11” so I wanted to make sure we had a backdrop that wasn’t just a few inches above out heads for our Covid safe micro wedding at my parents home. The height of this was perfect with the decor I added and this stand was nice and sturdy- even with my 3 dogs wandering around and through the curtains. Highly recommend for anyone need a frame for backdrops canvas or curtains!

Instructions say there will be two crossbar pieces, but I received 4 (two ends + two center pieces that interlock together via a little silver mechanism). At first they were stuck into each other and I had to get my husbands help to get them all unstuck. Thing is…these two center pieces will not slide into the two outside bars that it’s supposed to because the metal on the ends of these are welded in a way that it won’t allow that to happen. Without all four crossbar pieces together I am unable to Mount the crossbar onto the two side stands which makes this unusable. I even tried with just 3 pieces and one of the center bars wont fit into the outside poles because of the terrible welding job. I tried and my husband tried and because it was stuck together when I received it, I believe that someone else tried to before me and then end up returning it. I feel like I would have liked it had it came to me in satisfactory condition, but I can’t even use this at all as-is. Therefore I am returning it. Upsetting because I needed a backdrop stand for a last minute shoot I had tomorrow and this came right on time.

If you’re anything like me, you’re searching different strands and looking at reviews. I rarely leave them but felt necessary to leave one. This stand did the job, outside, very windy day and the stand held up well! No complaints and looking forward to using in the future.

I use it for video auditions and photography. Quick, easy set and teardown. Not exactly the sturdiest but is sturdy enough that with proper placement does just fine. My only recommendation is to go to a hardware store and pick up several hand clamps. The kit comes with three but I augmented that number with 5 additional clamps. This makes for having a nice tight pull on your back screen across the frame.
