Selected Themes from the Motion Picture Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Solo, Duet, Trio): Flute (Instrumental Series)

I ordered this book because I play flute and I am an extreme Harry Potter fan. The book doesn't say what level it is, and when I received it I was excited but a little disappointed. The book is based on a beginner level, and I am a high school student, so I need more difficult music. It is fun to play with friends though. I would recommend this book to a beginner to intermediate flute player.

Good arrangements, I purchased this for my middle school flute playing daughter, but couldn't resist playing 'Hedwig's Theme' myself before wrapping it for Christmas :-)If you love Harry Potter movies, these are fun to own. Some of the pieces are easier than others, which is okay because a younger musician can play some right away, and have to work on others.

The arrangements are great, fun for beginner to intermediate players, amd sound nice. However, the printing is poor. On some lines it's difficult to tell what the notes are. I'm able to figure it out easily enough but my beginner student has a lot of trouble reading it in some sections.

Perfect for flute players although I'm not sure its for beginners like it states. My daughter has been in band since the beginning of the school year and there are a lot of notes that she had to look up in order to start playing the music. So far, she has only mastered one song.

This collection contains highlights from the soundtrack that are appropriate for an intermediate player. I was able to create a decent medley to perform using the arrangements herein, as all of the songs are arranged in the same key.

The flute teacher was so impressed with the duets and trios in this book she is going to use it to have her students learn to play together! Each piece is structured so that flutists of differing ability can play together, or play alone to their level.

small print, weird reading position, just get the actual book. You won't be unhappy, the kindle version however will just be a waste of money.

The only song that stood out to me was Hedwig's theme...not sure what I expected, but I am underwhelmed...

Ink is smudged on the first page and it is generally a low quality printing. The arrangement is good though.

My daughter has recently started playing the flute in school and loves the Harry Potter films so this book of music has been a big hit!! Good selection of music and has encouraged a little more practice at home!

Not enough music for the money, there were only pieces. Overall OK but needs more music. Would recommend for a lower price.
