Not for hermit crabs
Not only did they smell like soap but they have long thin black hairs in the sponges. I recommend steaming these sponges before putting them in your tank. They do the job with humidity. I just think they aren't recommended for crabs. They aren't sanitized. And shouldn't be labeled for hermit crabs in my opinion.
