Q: Can the incense stick holder accommodate 1/8” wide incense sticks?

I would use cones. I wouldn't recommend putting incense sticks in the little incense holder. Too light weight. Falls right over. I use mine for incense cones and small sage bundles.

Q: Can i burn powder on it ?

I would think so it is cast iron.

Q: What is the glaze used on this? No other cast iron item that I use on my altar looks like this. Should this be cared for the same as regular cast iron

It's just a gloss coat for extra shine. Harmless. Also helps to protect it. Use it like you use your other cast iron items.
