What is the size of head, please?

Approximately 1"1 \2 " comfortable size.

Does it fold in half?

No it does not fold in half. I find it works well if you do not wrap the paper around the tool but put one end of the paper in and then put the other end in the same side. It makes it easier for the tool to release. But the tool will get sprung and you will need another tool about every 6 months or so. I have bought 4 over 2 years.

why doesn't the paper get released?

I found that it's a little finicky about how much tp is tucked into the groove. A little too much and it doesn't let go when the plunger button is pushed. Or if it gets damp all the way through the wet tissue will sometimes stick. It took a little practice to get the exact right amount of paper wrapped the exact right way. I also found that a 5-squares length of paper worked better than the 6 squares that it said in the instructions.

Would this be too big for a clindamycin wipe? They are those round wipes probably about the same size as a cotton round, a bit bigger maybe.

The tip where you put the toilet paper is the biggest part. I am thinking if it is the size of a cotton round it would be too big. I hope that helped.
