Best case I’ve ever had
This case is perfect, lightweight with a thin protective backing that allows my phone to charge easily on my car’s wireless charging pad. It provides good protection while maintaining the phone’s original look. It allows stable holding of the phone and slips into and out of pockets smoothly.

Love this case. Low profile almost feels like the original phone before a case. Bye Lifeproof.
I have owned mostly Lifeproof cases mainly for making sure they are waterproof. I have never, in more than 12 years dropped my phone in water. I dropped my phone maybe once or twice out of all phones I have ever owned. So paying Lifeproof prices and making my phone much larger was not happening for me anymore. I also learned that the iPhone 8/8Plus is water resistant. We have 5 phones on the same plan so when we upgrade is usually all around the same time so 5 times Lifeproof cases was really going to be much. So whenever we upgrade to another phone, have to get a new case usually. Well this year I decided no more Lifeproof. They are over priced but they are very good. The warranty for Lifeproof is unbelievably good. But, the cost. I had researched just about every case last year when we upgraded and again this year. Most cases last year were Lifeproof. This year I took the plunge and researched over and over again and finally decided on a really case that did not make my phone too large. However, I needed a screen protector. This is top notch quality if you ask me. I don't feel the edges of the protector even though it does not go to the very end of the screen. I have a case that is raised a bit and therefor offers protection when you lay it face down. I love that it is a two pack also. In my experience of carrying two phones all the time and using the same cases and screen protectors, I probably will never need the 2nd protector as I do take very good care of the phones to begin with. All the in and out of pocket action does not scratch the screen at all. Mind you I never all keys to rub against either.

Very good
Just received today for my 8 Plus - was looking for a very protective clear case that kept a low profile, and showed the color well at a low price because these rarely endure even close to the life of the phone, which is usually 3 years for us before we upgrade. I write this review knowing there is no prefect case out there. Read below for some perspective and comparisons on this product.Initial impressions:1. Color coming through - best in class (from what I have found) fro this feature: I can actually see the pinkish gold aluminum around the edge very well and it looks very nice - as nice as it could be in a case that would offer any drop protection that is. I tried-0ut 2 other clear cases: A Casemate from Best Buy, and a Tech 21 at the Apple Store, and neither do as well of a job of showing off the phone's actual design as it is. The Casemate I tried had a rubbery bumper as a separate part from the clear back piece and was well made, but because the bumper part was not totally clear, the color only came through well on the back. The tech 21 was just not as clear as this one, albeit well made, and attractive. For the price of this one, this case beats the expensive competition all day, in my opinion, for aesthetics in an all clear case.2. Protection: I expect the case will help protect the glass from shocks at lower heights. The case package says 4 ft, which is lower than many higher-end brands out there, but some of the Otterboxes are only 3.3, so this is not a relatively low-performer. The back cover is just the right thickness to exceed the depth of the camera lens on the back, so placing it screen-up on flat, non-abrasive surfaces will be just fine with this case on. It seems well made/rugged enough. It has a slightly raised edge around the front to similarly keep the screen elevated on flat, non-abrasive surfaces. Some folks complained in the reviews about the little "holes" in the back of the case near the bottom corners creating an unwanted opportunity for dust and muck inside the case and on the phone, and while that concerned me at first, I would just guess that maybe they have never had a clear case of this type before. You will need to remove the case and clean it and your phone fairly regularly - with or without holes. If you, for example, ride horses and spend time in the barn, this is not the case for you. (I promise - from personal experience.) Otherwise, everyone else can use this style with occasional cleaning. If that is something that concerns you, go for an opaque case, which tend to have a nice tight fit because over tie these types of cases have a higher tendency to accumulate dirt.3. Bulk: This is a nice low profile, and adds minimal bulk for good protection. If you want even slimmer, there are some opaque options wth good protection, including the Apple branded cases in the store, and a variety of other really good ones on Amazon, but you won't show off your phone's design. If you go might lighter on a clear case, I am afraid you will only get scratch protection, and not be well protected against drops or falls. There could be something great out there, but I have not come across it in my search. Unfortunately, no phone case has everything you could ever want.4. Grip: nice "grippy-ness" all over. The Tech 21 had this one beat on that front, but this feature is very good.5. Durabilty: I bet this will last me a year, but not because I think it will break. The bumper on the sides is made of TPU, which yellows with hand oils over time. Luckily, with the price, I can go through 3 of these over the next 3 years, and still come out paying less than the higher-end brands using materials that are not supposed to yellow as much. I am good with that.6. Buttons: Average on this. The casemate rocked on this feature and gave no resistance. This one requires pressure you really notice, and I think that takes away from the experience enough to downgrade this phone to 4 stars.Overall: I was actually struggling to decide between this one (sight unseen, of course), and the much more expensive Otterbox Statement in Plum (Apple Store and direct form Otterbox). The Statement is not entirely clear, but the perfect plum hue on the leather accent and edge bumper complemented my "gold" 8 Plus so tastefully. For the price and the fact that some users complained about the leather piece eventually detaching, I am convinced there is no need to spend so much on a phone case, and this is just about the best choice I can imagine making for the features I prioritize and decent protection.

Really Nice Look & Feel!!
The box that it comes in is nice. Open it up and it comes in a plastic bag. The tricky part is that there is protective film with print written on it on the back outside and on the inside. You just need to grab a corner and peel it down. I was concerned about scratching the case trying to get it off because it was a little difficult to get a corner up but once I did it came off no problem. I highly suggest that you clean your phone the back of your phone as well as the inside and outside of the case as it will show fingerprints very very easily. Once that it’s on it feels nice and snug not too big not too thin. The outside is not a true rubbery grippy feel and it’s not plasticky feel it somewhere in between I would say more so on the rubbery side. It also seems to be stiff compared to other of her cases which is good seems like you will get a lot more protection. On the backside there are raised edges on the corner ever so slightly. It is for when you set your phone down that the back of the case does not come in to group direct contact with the surface and causing more scratches. Overall it feels like it’s gonna be a good case and I like it. It allows you to see the color of your phone as well as the Apple logo. I’ve ordered a few more cases just so I can have a little bit of option. But right out of the gate I think I’m gonna like this case a lot. If you’re worried or concerned about the case I would say go ahead and purchase it because it feels as if it is a good quality good build and looks very nice on your phone. I bought the case for the iPhone 8+. Cheers.
