An opthalmologist once told me at 55 your eyes simply are not what they were at 25. Not so much an issue when driving a car but on the range is another issue entirely. Achieving a proper sight picture becomes more difficult everyday. These glasses go a long way to fix that. Focusing on the front sight means rear sight and target became impossible to align. Not knowing what power would work best I eventually purchased 1.0, 0.75 & finally the 0.5. At 0.5 magnification these work best for me. While they significantly improve my sight picture they do not reverse 55 years of aging. With the higher power lenses I found myself with headaches and stumbling about the range, a dangerous thing. Perhaps with the passage of more time I will make use of the higher power lenses. These glasses are not top shelf but for the price and what they do they are hard to beat. They are comfortable to wear and seem durable enough to survive my range bag. In high heat and humidity they stay in place. They are thin enough they feel ok under head phone type hearing protection. If you use prescription lenses may want to speak to your Dr first before buying otherwise I would definitely purchase these again and recommend them to anyone suffering from old eye balls.

Aging eyes and you don’t want to switch to a red dot? These work great. Front sight is SHARP SHARP SHARP. Downrange is a *tiny* bit blurry (a tiny bit… not like reading glasses), but I’m happy to give that up to get the sight picture I want to see. After wearing them for an hour, I don’t notice them anymore - and I have crystal clear vision when I present my gun. Give them a try before going to an optic-

Worked good nice full vision

These work great with older eyes and iron sights. just enough magnification to se the sights without blurring out the target.

The glasses are light and comfortable, I was trying to get a pair of shooting glasses that mirror my slight prescription distance glasses. Great safety glasses for close up work as described, but I could not clearly see objects across the room. The lenses are very similar to a pair of readers I own. I would recommend passing on these and go with getting custom prescription pair for shooting.
