I love chocolate licorice. I had been buying Amish-made chocolate licorice from a supplier in Chicago through Amazon. It was exceptionally good. I have also bought the Twizzlers brand chocolate licorice. It's very good but takes a 2nd to the Amish-made. So in the absence of the Amish chocolate licorice I thought I'd try this Delish chocolate licorice. First, the chocolate flavor does not deliver at all. It comes across as a sort of berry/chocolate mix. Second, it's pictured as a typical licorice stick, but it's not. The licorice pieces are about 1.5 inches each. Third, it's not stale but it's not soft and fresh like the other two brands I've bought over many years.

Taste is slightly less chocolately like others I’ve had recently but the quality and freshness are excellent!

WARNING! The picture shown is not the product you'll get. They purposely show the wrong picture to make you think you're getting a Twizzler-like product. It's not that. They're small strings that are too chewy and they taste terrible. Wish I could return it for a refund but they don't take back returns. They really get you on this one. They deserve no stars.

My wife loves chocolate licorice … the Hersheys Twizzler brand is her jam. I have bought from different licorice companies (licorice.com for example) with fantastic results … but they don’t have the chocolate covered variety … so, I found this brand. Unfortunately she is not a fan…. The licorice is too hard (stale maybe?) perhaps just not as soft as twizzler brand. It “hurt her teeth” to eat. Additionally, the flavor was not as good as the Twizzler brand. I did not ask for refund, their was nothing necessarily wrong… but for the reasons noted above she did not like it.

There is no chocolate flavor and the licorice is hard. Had my first taste 3 days after receiving my order. Packaging was fine. Found a sell by Date of 06/23/2026. My jaw hurts from eating 1 piece, can't imagine the tooth destruction if I waited any longer to eat it. Won't buy this product again.

My wife and always try licorice when ever we travel.without a doubt this is the worst licorice we have ever tried.tough like shoe leather.cant chew it .like it was several years old.no flavor.not edibleWasted $23.Had to throw it in the trash.dont waste your money .I would give it a ZERO if I could.Seller would not stand by a bad product.terrible service.
