Legendary Yellow Lion

All together, the Voltron figure is near perfect. Highly moveable limbs that move in articulated stops for super pose ability. Audio upon each docking of a lion upon the torso, and really smart figure design. There are however some flaws. The tails on the individual lions must be pushed in a bit for voltron configuration, but the blue and yellow lions (legs) are resistant to being pushed in. My biggest issue is the audio itself, as the Audio definitely isn't the voice of the voiceactor of Shiro in the show. But that's about it! I really recommend you get this, because if tou buy all limbs at around $20 and the torso at $30, you've made a good buy! It's definitely worth the $120 or so bucks!

I love these toys! They have many moving parts and joints. Each lion is unique, consistent with the show. The Black Lion is awesome with the larger size, "wings", huge sword and the audio voices, very cool. It is a fairly easy and straightforward process to "massage" all the lions into their "Voltron formation." The weapon accessories are cool and unique. My fav is the yellow lion which fires four little blue plastic discus. The rest of the weapon accessories only fir one projectile. It was especially neat to hear all the Black Lion unique audio cues when actually assembling Voltron!

Item was delivered in good condition. No questions on the quality. I both own the 'classic' lions and these 'new' lions from Playmates and I can say thay these new lions are on par with the classic ones in terms of design and scale. I just wished that yellow and blue lions' torso were poseable (equating to having Voltron's knee part poseable) but otherwise it's not an issue at all. I would rate these Playmates Voltron the second best Voltron Toys out there (with the SOC version being the first).

At first I was trying to red and green replacement lions for my Matchbox Voltron then when I got the green lion . I was disappointed at first but decided to get the other 4 . After I bought the Black lion I noticed a button that said on/off so I turned it on and for each lion attached more dialog was added until the last lion which for me was yellow. Then the words every Voltron fan knows starting with infracells up dyno therms connected...

Pretty awesome remake of the old Voltron from my youth. Sturdy, simple to transform. Can't wait to get the rest. Oh, and my kid likes them too. We're both watching the new series on Netflix. Don't pay more than $20 for these though. Demand is high, but wait it out.

This version of Voltron is pretty cool. I like the amount of detail that was put on the lions and the many points of articulation. It has been my experience that toys nowadays are very fragile, and although, this is not as rugged as the toys they made in the 80s, it is much more durable than most. My one negative comment is that although individually the lions have many points of articulation, when assembled together Voltron is a bit stiff. Still a very cool toy, one that will hold a spot in my collection for a long time.

I somehow managed to give my 7-year-old voltronmania, as a child i always wanted to have the original lions, now I enjoy my kid as he plays with the lions... cant wait for the voltronmania to end, so i can inherit the lions in 5 years or so lo Overall the lion is small (compared to the black lion) but hey, it's understandable, since it is a leg only. It fits perfectly on the black lion's left leg. No complaints so far.

I collected all five lions for display on my desk. They look great. You can form Voltron and looks amazingly accurate. The only complain I have is that the cannon is not very sturdy. When firing the discs one has to be careful not to detach the cannon.
