Worth every penny
they work perfectly even with the moisture on my hands they can detect.Not just one tone, they device increases the tone/volume depending on the amount of water detected.I have one next to my water cylinder and 1 under the bath for peace of mind.

Good value and loud
Loud!! Good value. battery seems to be lasting very well. I have one with the detector under the washing machine and another under the shower unit. I might around to sticking the alarm unit on the wall with some velcro one day.

Save yourself water damage
These are really useful, particularly if you have a potential leak from under a bath or a sink and the damage could cause harm to you or others.They’re very inexpensive for what they do and the battery does last a long time

Perfect for detecting water leaks
I have put this under the sink and also one under the shower. It has a very loud beep when it detects a leak, which is perfect and stops possible damage. Would highly recommend it.

Can easily be modified
They are way too sensitive and as others have said will be set of just by a small amount of condensation. However if you cut the sensor off the end of the wires and strip back about 5mm of the insulation at the end of each wire they work much better. You have to keep the ends of those wires apart though. If they touch the alarm will sound.
