Size matters
First off, the self inflating thing is trash. Get a pump.Second, it is not as thick as a normal blue up mattress. That being said, you can feel the ground. It doesn't matter how much air you put in it. If you weigh over 150 lbs. you will feel the ground. At the same time, I have back problems and still got decent sleep on it.Third, it is a billion times more compact and easier to maneuver than a regular blow up mattress. Therefore, if you're looking for comfort, get a regular blow up mattress. If you are tight on space because you need to travel light, this is your new best friend.

Surprisingly comfy
We put this mattress in the back of our truck tent very convenient as we didn’t have electricity and we’re surprised by how comfy actually was but I would say it’s better for weekend or short term trips as we were on a 10 day trip and had to resort to get an actual air mattress

Disappointed about ukulele
Was very comfortable, but was upset to see no ukulele was included as shown in the picture. I like the ukulele and may now never get the chance to play one.

really nice
it is pretty comfortable. Definitely not for cold weather. if you are camping out below 50 you might want to put a few layers of blanket under it so the cold doesn't penetrate. You cant really stand up in a 2 person tent and inflate it with your foot so it is kind of awkward to inflate it outside and than out it inside. with it came with an additional hand pump. it is pretty comfortable tho. easy to deflate.

Big improvement, with cot, on leaky air mattress!!
Got this to use with cot and replace leaky air mattress. Thought it was "self-inflating" but it isn't, takes a little foot pumping. Holds air well, and deflates and packs very easily.
