Bought this as a Christmas gift for my son's teacher who loves Star Wars. He said he loved it!

Sturdy enough. Looks cool on the book shelf. Note your books are at an angle, which didn't bother us.

The metal is actually pretty thick & strong, but the Yoda character comes detached & is a tiny piece of plastic. You are supposed to easily slide a piece on the bottom of Yoda into a slot on the metal, but it didn't work well or easily. The plastic is too thick to easily slip into the slot & isn't formed quite correctly. We got it to work, but it falls if you move it. So it's fine to sit in a bookcase, but wouldn't work well if you are changing out books often.

I bought this Star Wars book end as a gift for a "hard to stop for" family member. It is sturdy and functional, while adding some fun to home decor. This was the perfect unique gift.

The L shape of this is such that when enough books are leaned against it, the book “holder” will slide out. Unless you can have this book holder against a wall or a book shelf- it will not hold books. Cool design but very stupid as a book holder.

This is the perfect bookend for Star Wars nerds. It’s exactly as described and pictured and does the job it was made to do: holding up books while looking so good! My husband only has comic books and graphic novels, but it works for those too. I’ve actually stolen it back (was a birthday gift for him) and it’s holding up some of my collection of actual chapter books 🤓 and it performs exactly the same so if you think you don’t have books around that would work for it, you’re wrong. Y’all need this in your lives. And if you’re undecided just remember: Do, or do not. There is no…. long drawn out decision making needed here. Just do.
