Cerave the best cleaner
I wasn't expecting much from this facial cleanser, but I was surprised. After a week of use, my face has changed; it feels softer and cleaner. Besides reducing my acne, I highly recommend this facial cleanser, as it delivers on its promise. It also leaves your face moisturized.

💧✨ The Cleanser That Broke Up With My Dry Skin
This cleanser is like a big drink of water for my face 🥤 It cleans without that tight squeaky “desert face” feeling and leaves my skin soft calm and happy. The creamy texture feels gentle but still gets the day off, sunscreen makeup and my questionable life choices 😅It’s fragrance free (my sensitive skin says thank you 🙏) and the giant pump bottle lasts forever. It doesn’t try to be fancy or smell like a tropical vacation but it quietly does its job like the reliable best friend in every romcom 💖Is it exciting? No. Is it the unsung hero of my skincare routine? Absolutely. For the price it’s a no-brainer to keep my skin barrier hydrated and drama free. Honestly this bottle might outlast my next skincare obsession which is saying something. And when I forget to moisturize (oops) this still leaves me feeling like I tried.

Gentle and effective
I’ve been using this cleanser for a while now and I’m very impressed. It gently exfoliates without irritating my skin, and I can see a real difference in texture. My face feels soft, smooth, and clean after each wash. I also love that it’s fragrance-free and great for sensitive skin. If you’re looking for a reliable everyday cleanser that actually improves your skin, this is it!

Favorite Cleanser!
This is a pretty nice facial cleanser which is reasonably priced and easy to apply. It leaves my face feeling quite smooth and not dry like most other cleansers. Hopefully will be getting the moisturizer soon to complete the combo.

Skin feeling soft and clean.
CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser is a lifesaver for dry skin! It’s super gentle, doesn’t strip moisture, and leaves my skin feeling soft and clean. The hyaluronic acid and ceramides really help with hydration and restoring the skin barrier. No fragrance, no irritation—just clean, healthy skin. A must-have in any skincare routine!

Works Great for Sensitive Skin and Allergies
I have very sensitive skin with a fragrance allergy, patches of severe eczema, combination skin, and cystic acne prone skin. I've been using it for a few months now and it seems to work well. It does not dry out my eczema prone spots at all, make my skin oily, or irritate my skin. It's only downside is that it is so gentle that it does not do much deep cleansing of pores and it does not foam at all so it can be difficult to tell how much to use. This is to be expected though with a gentle cleanser like this.

Cerave for the win!
I wish I known about Cerave long ago in my teens. I had such bad acne, oily skin, and tried so many different products that didn’t work or made it worse. I still had acne (not as bad) into my 30s but after noticing others my age with no acne and at my wits end, I decided to do some research for products that actually worked, not just random products I found in the drugstore skin care aisle but also not break the bank. After some thorough google research, YouTube reviews, and website reviews, I found Cerave to be a good place to start. I now use Cerave Hydrating Facial Cleanser and rotate out with Cerave’s Renewing SA Cleanser (once a week). I then use Cerave’s Skin Renewing Night Cream (morning and night). I also do hydrating masks once a week, quartz facial rollers from the freezer (morning and night), LED red light therapy every other night, hyaluronic acid serum (morning and night), and Jergen’s Natural Glow Face Mositurizer with SPF 20 (which I will be switching over to Cerava’s tinted sunscreen once my Jergens is gone). I no longer wear foundation because my skin has cleared, my skin tone looks much smoother, and my pores are tighter.I hope this information might be helpful to others that are struggling with skin care issues like mine. Cerave has, from my experience, provided me with a good quality skincare routine that I’ve been using for over a year now with no issues. I would like to note that I have tried Cerave’s Skin Renewing Retinol Serum that did make me breakout. I discontinued use but after reading reviews, there is a temporary retinol purge period (can last several months) that causes breakouts but is not a permanent side effect. I will probably try this product again because Retinol is suppose to help speed up skin cell turnover and is used to help reduce wrinkles, improves acne scars, hyperpigmentation, and skin tone. It pushes trapped oil and existing clogged pore debris to the surface, which is what causes the breakouts. I’m hoping that since I’ve been on this Cerave journey for over a year that I won’t breakout won’t be as bad this time around. I will update my review after I get through the breakout stage of use.
