I use the TV Ears Digital system voice-enhancing technology works great. The TV Ears Digital system provides "crystal clear" sound, better than my hearing aids for watching television. TV Ears Digital Wireless Headset System was compatible with my TV model, and was very easy to setup. The TV Ears Digital Wireless Headset System are a reliable and user-friendly and might save your marriage. No more having the wife come in the house and say "I could hear the TV from the street" I would recommend this product to any and all with hearing problems.

TV Ears is a terrific product and performs as advertised.

I have used a TV Ears Digital system for several years. Aside from a miserable process of replacing the battery in the headset, it worked well. However, it finally gave out and I bought the new version of what I thought was the same thing. I have an ordinary television set with cable and DVR. I installed the new system the same way I did the previous one, but when I listened to it I heard a delay between the TV Ears signal to my head phones and sound from the television. It worked fine with the mute on, but my wife might object to the lack of sound. It was unusable. When I finally got through to a tech person (they aren't in their office on week ends), he suggested a work-around with my television, but my roughly seven years old Panasonic lacked the proper setting ability. He then asked if I had bought it from Amazon (yes) and intimated that the Amazon version was inferior to one that I could have bought directly from TV Ears! Also, every time I turn on the television I get electronic gibberish through the head phone. This is corrected by pulling the power source and re-attaching it or doing the same thing with the fiber optic cable from the television to the TV Ears device. I have no desire to go through that routine every time I want to watch television. Was this Amazon's fault also? This is not an inexpensive device and it ought to work after making a few simple connections with little fuss. I will return it.

I bought this product for my 91-year-old mother whose hearing aids were not helping her hear the TV, making her very frustrated. She had just about given up on watching TV, especially musical shows, but now she can use this without her hearing aids. I chose this particular brand because it's lightweight and easy to use. My mother would never have messed up her hair with a big, bulky headset. This is non-intrusive, lightweight and easy to slip off during commercials to join the conversation. It has 2 easy-to-access controls: volume and bass/treble. She is not tech-savvy at all but has not had a bit of trouble with them. The sound quality of the digital connection is excellent - I like to use them myself when she isn't using them because the sound is so much sharper than what the TV puts out. They can be used with the TV muted if she's watching alone or someone is in the room but not watching the TV. It is so easy to set up and I have even been moving them between her two TV's without any difficulty. I'm planning on getting her a second set.

This is really a great product, but be advised this is not a plug 'n play setup unless you have an optical Audio Out connection on your TV. I don't (Samsung 55"), and I exchanged several emails with Tech Support and also needed to purchase an audio interface to connect to my TV - details in parenthesis: (AMANKA 192KHz HDMI ARC Audio Extractor with Digital Optical TOSLINK SPDIF Coaxial, HDMI ARC to RCA Audio Converter Analog 3.5mm L/R Stereo, Audio Splitter for HDTV Soundbar Amplifier) It was required to use the HDMI-ARC audio output on my TV (the only audio output available), into the Audio Extractor, then an optical cable connection to the TV Ears set. Even then, it only worked sporadically until I found a hint online to edit my TV sound settings to Digital PCM (it was set to "Auto", but clearly was not working correctly). I believe all is now good, but this learning process took some time.

TV Ears were a bit pricey at Amazon but I ordered them because of fast shipping. Unfortunately they arrived and would not charge. It was a hassle to send them back. When ordering something fragile as these were.....I would order from the company that makes them. The box appeared to be thrown around and was dented so maybe that's why they didn't work. Just a note: These TV Ears are fantastic to hear your TV when you have hearing problems, no more loud TV and words are very clear.

I've had TV Ears for about 5 years now, this is my second set. although the original set still works, (one battery replacement), I purchased this second set, because I brought the original set up to our cottage. I've had no issues with either set, other than replacing the rechargeable batteries on the first set, (even rechargeable batteries don't last for ever). If your having trouble hearing the TV, this is an item to seriously consider. Easy to Install, & use.

Im Prinzip sind die Kopfhörer eine sehr schöne Sache. Mein Mann ist schwerhörig und kann damit beim Fernsehen die laute Musik, die er immer als störend empfand, dämpfen. Er kann sich seine Lautstärke unabhängig davon, wie die Zimmerlautstärke ist, einstellen. Der Ton schaltet also nicht ab, sobald er die Kopfhörer einsteckt, sondern andere Personen können ihren Ansprüchen entsprechend trotzdem weiter hören. Das ist das gute. Nicht so gut finde ich die die Ohrstöpsel. Sie sitzen sehr lose und fallen auch immer wieder mal ab und runter, so dass sie gesucht werden müssen. Leider finde ich auch nirgends einen Hinweis auf Ersatzstöpsel. Wäre hilfreich, wenn diese auch hier mit angeboten würden und evtl. gleich der Lieferung beigefügt, da sie nicht sehr haltbar sind.

Sirve muy bien cuando no te mueves pero cualquier cosa que pongas entre el audifono y el receptor anula completamente la recepcion del sonido y se escucha mucho ruido de interferencia. Es ideal para las personas que no se mueven mucho. Puedes vivir con ello si te haces a la idea de su funcionamiento

Transformed my viewing from using hearing aids and/or sub-titles to complete clarity. Only snag is that I tend to have the sound a bit too low for my wife to hear - any louder and It impinges a bit on the sound via the TV Ears
