The media could not be loaded. This product was insanely easy to install it took about 30 minutes to finish the shell replacement and came with multiple colored buttons for your choice of customization. The product doesn’t feel cheap and actual feels a whole lot better than the original shell. As far as internals I do prefer using the original screws but the replacement screws work fine just be careful not to strip the inserts. Also had a print defect for internal screen double sided holder, it didn’t fit the frame right so it blocked the screen a little more than preferred so just reused the old one and everything was fine. All in all a 10/10 replacement shell!

I have used retrosix and many others from eBay. In comparison this is by far a better shell.Pros1. The shell is very solid doesn't feel cheep in the hands2. Came together very easy. They give extra screws.3. The glass screen provided does fit for ips but barely.4. Provided buttons give you options.Cons1. The glass screen lens shows some of the holographic through the top.2. One of the screws head stripped but I used another bit was able to get it out. Had spares in the kit.Overall great shell and will buy again. Will update is I run into any issues but I don't expect I will.

Solid construction, no sharp edges. My only recommendation is to keep the origonal silicone button pads that go inside. They just work better. Glass screen replacement is perfect. Makes younger me very very happy.

The shell is supposed to be ready made for IPs screens, and it is except there was a slight white outline which meant that the cut shell was a little large. The other issue I had was sliding in a GBA cartridge was very tight. And I had to really muscle it to get it out. So after some trimming I was able to get the cartridge to fit better. That shouldn't be necessary with a brand new shell. Other than that it's a great looking shell and the finish feels really good in the hands.

Salvaged the guts from my old GBA and the backlit screen from my SP, everything fit inside perfectly.The buttons are nice and responsive, as well as the case just feeling a bit sturdier than the original GBA shell.The matte wood finish is also just super snazzy.

Looks amazing but must be trimmed for the back-lit screen upgrade. Also avoid the HISPEEDIDO brand screen. They do NOT fit even with excessive trimming.

Great looking case. Easy installation. Only issue is the cartridges don't fit. I had to cut out a bigger opening to get the games to fit. Might be an issue with this particular design.

This shell was a great replacement for my old shell. However when installing a laminated IPS screen it is not ready for it. To install that screen you have to trim back the edges of the shell around the screen. Fortunately the front glass covers up any missing shell from the trimming. This took me about an hour to get it trimmed and all parts installed.
