It's a good sturdy frame and packed well for shipping. The "glass" portion in front is part of the frame, meaning that it is NOT removeable. So, if you're doing any art and craft with this you'll have to cut out the whole plastic "glass". As for those that are using it for a display, this may be a blessing since it's solidly in place and I don't think it would fall out with weight pressed against it. The inside of the frame is spacious but there's an inner wood that locks it into the 5" x 7" space. The frame itself is scratch resistant but the plastic "glass" can be scratched. It did come with a sheet over both sides so you won't received it scratched. Mounting is on hooks at the back that's part of the cardboard stand portion, but there's little room for attaching other handing methods unless you screw something into the frame itself. The frame itself is very thick and solid so I wouldn't be surprised that it could hold plenty of weight inside the shadowbox portion. Overall, it's a good frame if you need something exactly in the size and without the ability to remove the front "glass".

This did not disappoint! Wow. Good quality and the perfect gift for my boyfriend. I made one of those museum shadow boxes and it's the perfect size. I am not hanging it, but I will just have it on my shelf. GREAT VALUE and the quality so much better than I thought! I might do another one!

I liked these white 8x8 shadowbox frames more than i did ghe black ones. For the price I would say they're pretty decent. No major complaints. The wood frame is nice and doesn't feel or appear cheap, it's not too thin but not too bulky either, the paint is done nicely, and there's plenty of space inside, deep enough to fit many items, with an easy to open back and can be stood up or hung up. My only issue is that while I wasn't really expecting real glass, the plexiglass used does seem a little on the cheap side and easily scratches.

This is a nice shadow box; it is built well and shipped well. I bought the box to show off my beach shells. I was worried it wouldnt keep the sand it but it did. I love how it turned out. I bought the 8x8 box and I love that you can either hang it on the wall or use the kickstand on a table.

These are sturdy beautiful white light box frames, perfect for displaying collections of memories like stones and shells etc. They're deep enough if you wanted to deposit a whole bunch in layers, or if you wamted everything visible in one layer against the glass, just lay them out and fill the back with crumpled white tissue paper (like I did here). Looks great! Take note the window is plastic so may scratch easier, not as visible but just handle with care.
