Great Everyday Meter
I bought this to replace a meter I had been using for over 5 years. Compared to my previous one this is so much easier to use. The auto range feature is a godsend and saves having to repeatedly move the dial to select a range.It's nice and sturdy with a flip out stand at the back which tilts it a a good angle to read while working. The supplied probe leads are a decent length and look like they should last.When it arrived I compared the readings it was giving to my old meter and also tried testing some known values. It is just as accurate as my previous model and within a few percent on most readings. Thats pretty good for a meter in this price range.I've had this for over a month now and am still very happy with my purchase.

Robust. Great features.
Has all the features, and more, that you'd want. In particular, I was vey happy to use the 'Non contact voltage' (NCV) sensing to find a break in a 10m mains cable. Can also be used to find live wires in walls (eg around mains sockets).It also can measure currents to 10A, which not all meters can do. So, good for basic electrical work, as well as having features that may be useful or may not (frequency, temperature, capacitance, true RMS) if you are a hobbyist.
