Works great; larger than I thought
Very easy to use and accurate. I’ve used this for a number of trips and types of luggage and it’s easy to use and have never failed accuracy wise. It’s larger than I thought, and I prefer something a bit smaller. But overall, and accurate and reliable weight measuring tool for your travel arsenal

Sturdy mechanical handheld scale
This Samsonite hand scale is portable but not as tiny as one may expect. It weighs 6oz. When the handle retracted and the hook folded to the back, it’s 5-inch in length. The black hand remains at reading position after load is removed, unless being reset manually to 12 o’clock position, a convenient feature for a mechanical scale. The reading is within half pound when compared to the other scale I have. I feel it is sturdier than the smaller digital hand scales sold on Amazon, and saves battery replacement. It also includes a built-in tape measure up to 1 meter or 40-inch max, which is a plus.

Better than the others, the hook makes all the difference
Always buy the one with the hook, easy to use and makes all the difference. I used this and could hold the handle with two hands if needed. Accurate to a T.

Great gadget, gives peace of mind while traveling
Samsonite is an excellent brand and this is a very inexpensive way to give yourself peace of mind while traveling with restrictions on size and weight of luggage. Works easily, the hanger hides away, and there’s even a tape measure built in. Can’t go wrong!

Accurate
I was skeptical, but this scale is accurate and of good quality. It comes with a built in tape measure as well. Please be careful to lift the luggage lightly with the scale, not just yank and pull and this device will last for years. I would recommend this vs a digital luggage scale.

Too big
It's a great scale but much larger than it appears on the item page. Too big to take along on a trip but good for packing at home and no batteries to be dead when using.

Much more convenient than a regular scale
This scale is super convenient for weighing out luggage. You just have to lift your luggage a little bit off the ground and it gets the right measurement of how heavy it is. This is so much better than weighing it on a human scale. I would definitely recommend getting this if you are unsure of how much baggage you are bringing on a plane or anywhere for travel.
