unique with good sound
I got these for listening to my 1980s cassette mix tapes that I recorded off the radio. I'm pretty sure these headphones make those tapes sound better than they did then when I made them 40 years ago. They're light and comfortable, the design of the adjustability to fit is clever and simple. For an extra $20 I sprung for the beige retro edition, and even then I feel like the price is low for the construction and sound quality. I've seen reviews suggesting they are small and delicate, but if you had headphones in the 80s you'll find them familiar and recognize they are actually well made and sturdy. I appreciate the way they fold to pack also. I've already showed these off to friends.

Just like the 80's!
I have always heard good things about Koss, and with good reason. They did invent the "stereophones" first, after all.And WOW. For the price point, these things absolutely punch well above their weight. The open-back design also gives great soundstaging, which is what I was really hoping for! I did get some aftermarket pads in orange to give them classic Walkman vibes, so I can't say how the default foams feel, but I will say this thing fits perfectly, and feels as light as a feather. Not quite "forget you're even wearing them" comfort, but definitely "I don't mind keeping them on for hours" feel. These specific models come with an in-line microphone and a volume slider control, which is great; lets you adjust volume levels without needing to reach into a pocket for your device! I'm using these for my cassette player, so I can't speak about the microphone function. They also come with a hardshell case and a faux-leather carrying bag, which I didn't expect for this price point!Overall I think Koss hasn't changed a bit since the 80's, and I mean that in the best way possible. They still offer the same great products, at great prices, with a durable build and sound quality you just can't beat. And they still offer that lifetime warranty; anything goes wrong, you send in your headphones and $9 and they'll fix it or replace it, for as long as you live! (Not that I think I'd ever have to take them up on it, these things are built like tanks!)Highly recommend these, or any of Koss' lineup.

Wow!
Wow! I'm not going to lie, when I opened the case and saw how small they were my heart kind of sank. Then I plugged them in and was completely blown away! These little things are monsters and sound great! I agree with others that the treble is missing something but it was easily fixed with my phones on board equalizer and honestly I like a punchier bass for my music preferences anyways so these hit the spot! I also love the space it gives you for your glasses and unlike IEM's these don't tire my ears out at all. The support band feels a bit light but its actually quite resilient. Plug and play of course with no hassle and honestly they're some of the best bang for buck headphones I've ever bought.

A modern classic take on Walkers
I absolutely love these headphones. I can’t believe I didn’t know about it sooner. I’ve always wanted these types of Walker headphones again because it’s easy on the ears, it’s not one of those deep plugging into the ears, especially they be in that earwax. I have oily ears & hair so these are easier to manage in terms of maintenance & cleanliness. They are a bit pricey but they are worth it for the quality, these are exactly my preference. It’s a mix of acoustic & bass boosting, it improve the sound overall on my computer, it’s comfortable on the head. I was surprise at how light it is, it’s also foldable & it came with a traveling case. However, the cushions are a bit small, I feel it could’ve been a bit thicker & bigger to cover just a bit more of the ear. And my biggest complaint is the wire, it is incredibly thin. A simple accident could easily break the wire, it is even thinner than apple iPhone headphones. It would’ve been nice if they were produced in the US, but it is manufactured in China.
