Durable, washable, soft and absorbent enough to protect furniture and beds. It also works well as a transfer sheet to move immobile people who slip down the bed and need to scootch back up. I overlap three pads the length of the hospital bed for my mom. As the day goes on and we use the pads to lift her closer to the head of the bed…, the top cover then goes to the feet as another overlap until we need to move her completely and change all the bed linens. They will soak up wetness, but will not repel on the cotton side. The other side is resistant to water. I usually put one between the mattress and the mattress cover, one between the mattress cover and the fitted mattress sheet. When she was just about ready for hospice and adult diapers I also put one on top of the fitted sheet.

I've purchased these several times. I first purchased for my terminally ill mother and have continued to use for an aging dog. They've been washed many times and have held up well and continue to seem to be waterproof. Have been very happy with them.

Needed for occasional bedwetting and it works great. The longer size is great for a person who move up and down on the bed during sleep. It is a great product for sharing a bed. We use it on a king size bed and it covers my side. (yes, embarrassingly, I am the one with the bedwetting issue ugh). We place it over the mattress top sheet and I sleep directly on it while my wife enjoys normal non-bedwetter protected bed comfort on her side.Having had bedwetting issues since I was a teen I have tried just about everything to protect the mattress. As a teen I used plastic garbage bags since my parents didn't know I was wetting the bed about once a month or so and I was too embarrassed to tell them. When I got my own place I graduated to the white plastic mattress covers. They were hot, uncomfortable, and noisy. Giving this past experience I am impressed that this protective bedwetter pad is very comfortable to sleep on. It is not hot or sweaty, like sleeping on the traditional plastic covered mattress. Also not noisy like the typical white plastic mattress cover crinkle sheets used for bedwetters.This product works as described, it protects the bed. On the occasional nights that I do have an accident the pee is wicked away and I wake not feeling soaked. The pee is contained and only the bed pad, my sleep clothes, and the top sheet is all that needs to be washed. Makes for a stressful morning when the odd wet nights occurs.So yes, I recommend this product for those looking for mattress protection from bedwetting. It is comfortable to sleep on and makes wet morning clean ups easy.

These are the Fluffiest, Softest and most Absorbent bed pads I've ever seen, be it nursing home, hospital or medical supply store. They're multilayered & awesome. SO SOFT.(many people use these for puppies or elderly animals - I would recommend against this brand for cats. They are soft enough cotton on top that claws would get stuck, and yanking on it could easily result in a tear. I also think that a lot of poop (adult animal) would be a more difficult cleaning task than other products. Just IMHO) BACK TO THE GOOD STUFF....I live with incontinence & dysautonomia, so sometimes I just FLOOD at night. Because I have to currently sleep in a recliner, I place these 'sideways' to stop any liquids funneling down in the seat. WORK PERFECTLY. I also have a mattress cover over the chair - BUT - with these pads I don't have to wash the whole cover. I JUST WASH THE PADS. I also don't have to struggle with getting the cover back onto the recliner every day.This is my THIRD ORDER, best vote or confidence I know. They wash great, dry on low/air, NEVER USE SOFTENER, and they never smell (though I've only had urinary incidents on them).May you all have best of luck with your incontinence needs! This protects furniture and bedding, and works well for incontinent animals and people. The large size provides excellent full coverage so nothing soaks through and beds and furniture are protected.

I actually purchased this for one of the dogs, who had an intestinal bug and was beginning to urinate in front of the door because she just couldn't hold it. Its worked so well that we've left it in front of the door for the dogs to stand on while we clean off their paws after them come in. Easy to wash; its lightweight (tho' I do wish it was a bit weightier as it has a tendency to wander over time).

I use these pads for my whelping box… and they are nice for the puppies… absorbent and doesn’t feel like polyester… it has some cotton in it. I like that they come in different sizes since I have 2 whelping boxes of different sizes… so 2 for each box is a nice fit w/ 2 extra for backup while washing! Great choice and these are the same pads I bought last time. In the meantime, I ordered others and they were not of this quality… had no cotton in them so I sent them back. Was glad to realize these were the quality pads I had bout a few years ago!!
