Aylio Heavy Duty Exercise Handles (Pair)

I've had to replace my bowflex hand grips a few times now so I figured I'd give these a try. The ones that come with the bowflex have a little wider space for larger hands so these felt a little cramped at 1st but I got used to that. The grips are padded really soft. That feels good. I've used them at the full 300LB capacity of my bowflex a couple weeks now & they seem to be holding up well. Guess I'll see just how long they last overall. So far I'm happy with them.5 1/2 month update - Well 1 of 2 cracked now so I deducted a star from my rating. Some of the ones I ordered thru bowflex lasted longer, some didn't (I guess?). I forget how many sets I ordered over 10 years but I'm thinking it was only 3 (plus the original set that came with it?) so 1 cracking in less than 6 months doesn't seem especially great. I guess with plastic, it's going to break sooner or later. I'll keep using the good one with the one good bowflex one I have left & see how long it goes till I decide if I order another set of these or look for another brand.6 1/2 month update - well it didn't take long for the 2nd one to crack. I guess I've leave it a 3 stars but 6 months doesn't seem very long lasting. They were the cheapest out there so I'll leave it at 3 stars with an I guess you get what you pay for comment. Think I'll be looking for something that isn't made of plastic since I do want them to last & I do use a decent amount of weight on my bowflex. My apologies to anyone who experienced or will experience the same disappointment based on my initial review.

The old handles on my Bowflex machine were starting to wear out and split at the edges so I tried these for replacements. They have a nice solid pad on the grip which is more comfortable than the hard plastic on the old Bowflex grips. Definately an improvement in feel. They are not quite as fat as the old ones though so it feels different in your hand. I would have liked a handle with a larger diameter but really the difference is pretty small so not a big deal. They are very light weight which I suppose is a good thing but it also looks like the plastic is thinner so I don't know how well they will stand up to heavy use over time. So far they are working fine, I have had them for a couple weeks and they are doing the job well.

For the price, they would probably be OK if it weren't for one flaw - the straps are sewn inside the handles, and one of them was sewn off-center so that the tube will not center. This makes it a little uncomfortable.Another review said they were well padded. I disagree - about 1/8 inch of foam is not what I consider well padded. The plastic for the tube is also very thin.I bought these as a replacement for Total Gym handles, one of which the tube broke in the middle. Good things about the Aylio handles are the straps are of reasonable quality, and the D-ring is shaped such that it doesn't slip sideways so that the strap is no longer on the flat part of the ring. That was a constant problem with the original Total Gym straps.Right now, they are working OK, even though it would be considerably better if the one handle would center, but I question how long they will last.

This is the third pair of handles I have had for my Total Gym. The metal ones that came with the Gym work well but I found them to be rather noisy and "clunky". When I realized I could change them for others, I purchased the official Total Gym handles. They were an improvement but a portion of the rim around one of the handles broke and while still useable, it caused the strap to twist while in use. I thought I would try one more time to find a pair of handles that I really liked. These seem to be it. They are light and comfortable for my small hands. There is no rim to break, and I look forward to many exercise sessions in the future with no problems.Delivery was four days beyond the estimated date but I suspect that is because they came by USPS instead of UPS. No mystery why the government entity is a failure and the corporate entity is a success.

Needed some replacement handles for my Totalbodyworks 5000 handles. The TBW handles cracked after about of year of weekly use. I didn't want to get a replacement model that would crack again so I tried these out. They are great for low to medium weight, but the handles need to have a larger circumference for heavy weight as they are too skinny and really cut into your hand. The padding is excellent, however. I'd buy again over replacement TBW5K handles, just wish they were thicker (and I have small hands).

I bought these as replacements to use with my BowFlex. They work with no problem, but they don't seem to qualify as "heavy duty". They seem a lot more delicate than the handles that came with the BowFlex. There is less padding and the core seems thin and lightweight. However, these do the job and were inexpensive enough to take a chance on. As long as this pair lasts at least a year, I'll consider buying them again if the need arises.

These handles I bought for my Free Motion Chest Machine, because the original handles "melted". These handles do the job, but are very thin feeling. They feel as if you need just a little bit more on the width side of things to feel right in your hands. If these were steel handles, I think the width would be ok, but since they are foam, they don't feel that "heavy duty". Just alright. I would go for a different pair, and already have, if you are looking for something in the commercial field. For home workouts, these would do just fine.

The price was good. Looks good quality.The only cons was the grip (for me, personal), the product is describe as "Soft-Grip Foam for Comfort" I needed more foam, because I make to much presure on the grip. For my wife is just perfect, but not for me. The product as describe is fine.By the way I'm using this product for my Total Works replica of Total Gym.
