These work well for electric Cannon downriggers. You do need to purchase the batteries wiring with plug. Pretty easy to install. I have 2 of these on my Jetcraft, bought 2 more to install on my friends boat so we can take my downriggers as he hasn't purchased his yet. The only drawback, is the little rubber flapperdoo that covers the port (be sure the flapperdoo is on top and closes down) could snap in a little more snug. Tends to pop off randomly. I put a tiny bit of electrical contact grease in each side of the plug to discourage rust if the contacts get wet from flapperdoo popping off. Definitely recommend. Have had zero issues with these, beats chords laying around. 👍

Nice neat finish to the boat with this mount , keeps the wires hidden when the downrigger is not attached. Quality ok. Picture implies the cable and plug are included but they are not.

Easy to do a professional Install. Everything fit perfectly and solid

Had to replace both original plugs not sure why they wear out over time i do unplug after every fishing trip.
