They aren't the strongest ones I've ever used, so as your sharpening them sometimes the chalk just breaks and falls out but as long as your careful they do work really well.

They work the way they should. I have no issues with buying, shipping, or product. Will buy again when I need more.

Goes on paper well. Has a more chalky texture to it, so it smudges as it should. Sharpening it is tricky.The manufacturer did mention to sharpen with a knife, because even trying to slowly and carefully use a pencil sharpener will break the lead too easily.It's alright for the price, but you may burn through them fast.

They really don't fit well into the pencil sharpeners that I have...so a sharp point was difficult to get...perhaps including a sharpener that will better fit the pencil would be helpful.

They are great sharpened well didn't break less easily showed up on any paper

These are an awesome addition if you are an avid artist, or just starting out. These charcoal pencils are great for creating highlights and really elevate your work. I wish I had these when I was much younger. They are super useful and inexpensive.

I love color charcoals. They just do so much that normal pencils can't. It's difficult to keep white areas as bright as you want considering there's a lot of dust and movement, blending, etc and erasers can't do it all. It's almost impossible to keep from smudging accidentally. These pick up the slack and give you the option for highlights, contrast, and detail work that just takes your work and elevates it. Easy to use and blend, sharpening is just as simple, absolutely invaluable.

My daughter loves art and draws just about every day. She's got a pad of black sketch paper, perfect for these pencils. On such dark paper, she uses a lot of white. This six pack is nice to have so she doesn't run out.The pencils arrived in a sturdy cardboard box. The inner sleeve slides out to extract the pencils for use. It is a great box to store them too. The tips stay protected. The pencils were not sharpened and my daughter was able to sharpen them exactly how she likes. She did them all at once and left a couple of them with a blunter tip for when she wants thicker lines or more white color. She finds these pencils to be comfortable to hold and easy to use to make stunning drawings on her black paper.
