This is a great tool for your garden. Sharpex bypass lopper does the job quite effectively without much fuss. Cuts precisely and easily, but one has to know how to prune. The jaws open wide due to the gear present. Handles are long and strong with a good grip. I found it pretty useful for my medium sized flower and fruit trees.

Got this just in time. Had a cyclone the next day so put it to good use. It easily cuts 2-3 inch branches of even hardwood trees. And can do thicker branches if you try. Love it! Definetly easy to use, sturdy and a fine addition to my garden tool kit.

While its a good brand the product is sturdy, there are couple of other points to be considered. The product is so heavy and unless both the handles are wide open, the edges or the mouth will not fit into the branch to cut. Moreover the tip is too small that every time you need precision to catch every single branch to cut. This cannot be used for any general pruning or trimming of small plans or to shape a bushy one. Very hard to operate and we do not have a choice to replace this with a different model , even if we chose it from Sharpex. Amazon need to evaluate these and help customers at least for an exchange.

It is really easy to use as also the sharpness is amazing. Cuts quite thick branches too. Only problem is when you have to open it for thicker branches, the length becomes less.

If you compare this to hand secateurs it is very affordable,Due to its compound action you need to open wide enough to cut small branches, but it does its job without any jitter,you can cut upto 3cm² soft/medium hard wood.If you use this more than 20mins your arms may get strain yet i recommend this over other brands.
