Very small container for the price. I guess I couldn’t really visualize the size in my head when I ordered it. A little does go a long way in ramen though. Good for when you’re in a pinch and can’t find menma at any local stores. It’s not in chili oil like the kind I normally buy from the Asian Mart, but tastes good. I honestly don’t know which type makes a more authentic ramen, but I like my bamboo to have a kick to it. Ingredients are all in Japanese (I had to look them up) so it’s more authentic (and much better tasting) than getting the canned garbage from the grocery store. Probably will go back to the chili oil kind though, and won’t make the mistake of running out of menma again.

Love the momoya’s memma, but I later found the exactly same one at a Japanese market for much less $$.

It's the real thing. Great for ramen topping. Bottle is small but it will serve 6 ramen bowls or more maybe. Doesn't keep long, even in the fridge, but that is normal for Memba. Have with others and eat fresh!

I love to eat with rice or with my ramen noodles. A bit salty but must for preserving the seasoned bamboo shoot slices which are so tender. Shipped all the way from Japan so I was surprised and it took a long time to arrive. Delicious though! Hey if this is too salty for you, take a small portion you plan to use and rinse gently and enjoy.

Extremely happy with the product. The package wasn't very large and it's an expensive product, but the flavor is perfect and they were honestly my favorite ingredient in the ramen I made. This is definitely an authentic product and something I will be buying again.
