Exact fit
This is a direct fit. No reason for altering. You can get a pack of 2 or 3 for the same price but this is the right micron filter for my John Deer.

A "must have" if you care about your machines
I ordered this filter because there are so many off-brand ones out there and I wouldn't want to try to save a dollar at the expense of my $700 engine in my machine. That being said, I believe this to likely be an original B&S filter but because of the packaging I can't say 100% for sure if it is. It looks to be better quality than the usual bulk junk ones that go for super cheap, but I can't say for certain. I'm satisfied with the quality anyway and it's working perfectly and fit perfectly.

Needed for my tune up!
I needed this item to tune up my Husqvarna YTH22V46 lawn tractor. Price was good. I had never replaced the fuel filter in the past, and decided 3yrs was enough time and did so with the rest of the items for my tune up (air filter, spark plugs, oil & filter change). The lawn tractor runs great again and no back firing!

It’s a filter…
The filter was exact as advertised and is working well. Does not seem to be a knock-off or flawed, but with an item like this it impossible to tell without ruining it. Fuel flow seems to be as good as ever.

Repaired for less than the cost of a happy meal
Thursday morning at about 6:15 am I decided to look amazon for this fuel filter. Found it right away for less than $5 and it was in my mailbox Saturday before 11:00 am . Installation was simple and the mower fired right up. This could not have been any more simple or inexpensive. I recommend this for anyone looking for a fuel filter for husquvarna rider.

Does what its meant to do. Recommended. Fits the B&S engine in my Toro DH220 and many more as its a standard size. While you are changing the filter drain and clean the fuel tank. Amazing what problems few dead bugs can cause. I had one that blocked the outlet of the fuel tank and never got as far as the filter. Caused very strange engine problems until I realised whet was going on. .

Ho acquistato questo filtro per istallarlo su un B&S bicilindrico. Il filtro risulta appena più piccolo rispetto a quello attualmente montato, ma penso che vada ugualmente bene poichè non sono le dimensioni fisiche che contano, ma la capacità filtrante. Anche in base alle precedenti recensioni (in lingua inglese) ritengo che sia adatto al mio motore. Il prezzo poi a cui l'ho acquistato (poco più di €2) è sbalorditivo e non ha uguali!
