Very sturdy retractable keychains. The steel cord is strong, the reach is perfect, and the clips feel secure. Works great for keys or badges. Excellent value for a 2-pack!

These are pretty awesome! They have a high spring tension for retracting the cable+keys, the cable itself is a very thing gauge plastic coated steel cord. These are, by far, the strongest retractable keyring/ID Card units I've had. Most of the retraction units I've had in the past broke within 30 days. These have held up to the abuse I put them through without any problem. I am not afraid that the cable will snap and I'll lose the keys. Unlike every other one I've ever had! The plastic coating on the cable serves to reduce friction as the line gets paid out and when drawn back into the unit as well as weather/waterproofing the cable. The carabiner is well made and won't just come apart under normal use. This retractable keychain is about as perfect as it gets! If you're looking for one and/or an NFC/RFID key card and are on the fence with all the options... Just get this one. You won't be disappointed! I have only two minor suggestions that I would give to the manufacturer. Neither of these affect my rating and don't warrant dropping a star. First, the badge snap strip is affixed in a way you CANNOT remove it. If you want to remove it, it requires that you destroy it in the process. Doing so renders the badge snap strip useless. The only way to POTENTIALLY non-destructively remove it would be to spread the D-Clip apart so that you can remove the badge strip (and the keyring component) from the rest of the unit and then re-assemble it. I believe removing it in this manner would be troublesome and very difficult to do without damaging it. It would be beneficial to have that attached via the keyring part so that it can be removed when using it specifically as a keyring. That or use a smaller ring to attach it to the same little D-Clip the keyring itself is attached to. (See Attached Photo) Second, the carabiner should be a bit larger. It's a good design and well made, but you won't get it to fit with wider belt loops that some pants have and you can't simply remove it and replace it as it's integrated into the plastic body of the unit. It still does exactly what it should, but if the carabiner were made a little larger to fit the fatter belt loops and potentially simply user replaceable, it would make this unit better. The carabiner itself is made of metal. (See Attached Photo) As I said, I don't count either of these two things as flaws, nor do they warrant a lower rating as a result. They are just two things that would be beneficial if the manufacturer were to correct them.

Well made, the steel cable is probably overkill but maybe it counts as a self defense measure in addition to a lanyard holder, thing is practically a piano wire. The internal spring eventually broke after about a year of abuse so I reached out to their customer support via email and they got back to me the next day asking for a picture and order number then promptly sent me replacements, additionally commenting that they'd pass along the "broken spring" feedback to their QA team. Seems like they honestly care about making sure their customers are happy and ther products perform consistently. Overall 10/10 experience with these guys, I bought one of the same unit with an added card protector because I kept sitting on my badge 😂

Super sturdy and built tough. Metal rope and clips hold up for a long time. One star removed because the key ring is excessively tight, making attaching items to it overly difficult.

The button clasp gave way before the pully did, so towards the end my badge and visuals kept falling off. Nothing a zip tie couldn't fix though until the new one came in. This lasted a long while, with me using it and students pulling on it constantly. I liked the clip and it was easy to take on and off.

so nice to see well-made things these days - great job, MNGARISTA ! smooth retraction, plenty long cable. tip: it's a nice and strong spring, so if you let go of the end without keys on it, will smack your hand. this is good, it has a strong spring. just a little tip for ya... :) They're not super thin or small, like cheaper ones. These are made to hold your things well, on outside or in a pocket. Highly Recommended ! BEEFY !

The case is hard plastic. I'm not sure how long it will last. Everything else is very sturdy and strong. I have several keys attached to it. I also have a small phillips & flat head screwdriver attached to it and it holds up perfectly. It can hold a hefty amount of weight to it. It's not your typical yarn. This thing is braided strings and I believe it will last a very long time. I think everyone has ran into those flimsy, cheap kind after several hard use, it falls apart. This thing is a beast! I was on a lift about 40 feet high, I was using the phillip attached to it, I accidentally dropped it and it was fine.

Luego tenemos el propio anclaje retráctil, realizado en un plástico resistente a roces, golpes, manipulaciones y en cuyo extremo tiene una arandela doble para mayor seguridad de tipo llavero en donde colocar los objetos (las llaves por ejemplo), además de un resorte semitransparente fijo con un sistema de cierre mediante corchetes resistentes, en donde podemos colocar una tarjeta de identificación personal. El sistema es sencillo pero en mi opinión está bien resuelto, realizado con buenos materiales, aparentemente resistentes (el tiempo nos dará o no la razón) y que te permite tener controlado aquellos pequeños objetos de valor, como las llaves, sin miedo que estas se pierdan. Ya disponía de llaveros de este estilo, pero ninguno con esta calidad de acabados y de materiales de fabricación. Sencillamente práctico y muy útil.

J’ai testé ce produit dans le cadre du programme Vine d’Amazon, ce qui n’influence pas mon avis. Ce porte-clés a un aspect sobre mais élégant. J’ai déjà testé plusieurs modèles à mécanisme coulissant, et la plupart s’usaient rapidement, mais celui-ci m’a tout de suite paru solide. Le mousqueton en métal est fiable, et le cordon extensible, fait d’un fil fin mais résistant, ne se retire que volontairement. Même avec le poids des clés, il reste bien en place dans son boîtier robuste en plastique. Le porte-clés combine métal et plastique avec une sangle à pression, ce qui le rend pratique et durable. Dans la vie quotidienne, il demande un peu de force pour tirer la clé, ce qui évite qu’elle ne se détache accidentellement. Je recommande ce porte-clés sans hésiter et lui attribue 5 étoiles.

It feels and functions well, but it will take some time of usage to really know. But my first impression is good.
