This clock is a good deal. Not too complicated (maybe too complicated for my needs) and easy to set up. It will run on 3 AAA batteries or plugged into an outlet with the provided adapter. The 3 batteries will act as a back up for power failure. They are not included. No biggie.I only wanted this clock for one thing: I needed a way to tell the time in the morning. I can read it across the room at night (which adds to my sleep anxiety since I'm awake all the time. But, that's not a problem with the the clock!) Sadly, I can't see it in the morning when I want to know how much of the day I've wasted crashed out hard since 6:30 AM because I was awake all night!OK, this is TMI, but if you need to see the display in the light w/o touching the clock for backlight, this might not work for you. I can sort of see it, but my wife sees only a dark gray rectangle.

I wanted a simple clock with USB ports to replace a bulky clock-radio. I use a different alarm, so just the clock and ports for me.Pro:- simple clock with USB ports- reasonably low light for next to bed, and easy to read- touch the top to make brighter, I use as a kind of nightlight, goes out after 5 secondsCon:- hard to read time in the daytime even with large LCD numbers; contrast is nowhere near what's displayed in the picture- AC adapter has short cord which barely reaches my outlet- Very light so plugging and unplugging USB or catching the cord causes it to move or fall off my table- A little bulky, not exactly "elegant"

This nice sized, sturdy bedside alarm clock was just what I hoped it would be from reading the description. It has a very soft backlight when the top button is pressed, so my 12 yr. old granddaughterr can check the time without waking her little sister in the trundle bed below. Plus, it lights up briefly and doesn't stay brightly lit. We liked that the clock could run on batteries or eletricity. **** Please note: don't buy this clock if you expect it to be readable from any distance beyond 2 ft. without pushing the button on top. The numerals are too grayed out to read.

I recently purchased this alarm clock from Travelwey and can say that I am very pleased with it.I love how it has a low light at night because I'm a very light sleeper and need it dark in my room. I also like that if need be I just have to touch the top gently for a brighter display that only stays on a few seconds.It also has two USB ports on the side to charge my phone and tablet if need be. It has battery back up too, using 3 AAA batteries.It was so easy to set up, with good instructions. Comes in black also. I chose white to match my decor.I have only been using it for a few weeks, but so far I love it. Ill update if I need to change my review, but don't think ill need to.This clock arrived exactly when I thought it would. Only took two days.

There seems to be an issue with the battery connections in the clock. I put new batteries in and the clock did not turn on at all. After fiddling with the batteries, the clock would turn on for a second, but if the batteries moved position it turned off again. The clock works just fine when plugged in through, and since I want to use it to charge stuff I have it plugged in anyway. As a result, I will keep the clock in spite of the battery mechanisms not working.

I chose this product because I didn’t want a bright alarm clock light keeping me up at night. This clock works great for that because it only uses the back light when you touch the button on the top. The issues is with the power supply which easily disconnects causes you to loose the time/date and need to reset. There is a battery back up but I think this is a design or manufacturing flaw that takes away from its everyday use.

Very simple to use. I was able set the time, date, and alarm without any difficulty.The numbers are large enough to view without my glasses.I like the way it lights up for a few seconds when you touch the top of it.Though the display is easily readable in the dark, even if its not lit up.I have not used the USB ports yet, so I don't know how fast they will charge my phone, yet.

We received this 4 months ago for my preteen daughter's bedroom. It has worked fine until early this morning, when my daughter woke up to a buzzing/humming sound coming from it's electrical plug in the outlet. It does this in every outlet that I tried it in and this does not happen with other devices plugged into the same outlets. So it is a concerning issue with the clock itself.
