Pretty decent overall
(not AI, actual person here)I was looking for the smallest possible banker-style lamp that didn't have a green top, and I'm overall pretty happy with this. It's for a high-top dining table, because I wanted to create an intimate warm glow on the table, and it does just that, along with an amber colored bulb. You can use any type of bulb for it, so incandescent or LED are both good options. Ultimately decided to use an edison-style LED bulb, because my table top is reflective and I wanted the bulb to look good in the reflection. I'm giving it 4 stars because I wish it were even smaller, but this is the best I could find.

Replaced a lamp just like it. Works well on my husbands desk. Has a good display area. Old fashioned accountants desk lamp that fits perfectly on his desk. He loved his Father’s Day gift.

Perfect!
I purchased this for my daughter's bedroom. We decorated her room in a 'gothic victorian' theme and definitely needed to update the lighting to match. This library lamp is exactly what we were looking for and it creates a lovely ambiance. I highly recommend.
