I can't say enough good things about Purigen. I bought some wood that was leaching a lot of tannins and turning my aquarium water yellow. Crystal clear water!
The media could not be loaded. Purigen is amazing. I added it to my aquarium filter and noticed a difference within a couple of days. The water is way clearer, and it helps keep everything balanced. Good product, just really messy.
I would only use this with atleast 180 micron pouch, or the purigen will leak into your water. Other than that clarity is good aside from the purigen pellets leaking inside the tank. Please make them a tad bit bigger. Thanks Seachem.

Purigen does an amazing job at keeping aquarium water clear. I put it in a white mesh bag and put it in my hang on back filter on both fishtanks. One tank has driftwood and both have seed pods and leaves. The water was turning brown. The Purigen took care of it! Now it is crystal clear.The Purigen is tiny cream balls that are moist in the bottle. It clings to the spoon and your skin. I used a small spoon to fill the zippered mesh bag, then rinsed it in dechlorinated water before putting it in the filter.Highly recommend!
