Exact replacement for 2014 Cub Cadet LTX1045 with Tuff Torq rear end.
My mower quit moving, both forward and reverse. I got it up on the lift and started investigating, i immediately seen the left side back of the wheel and tire was covered in oil. Pulled the wheel off and could see the break in the seal, fluid was actively leaking out, so much so there wasn't enough fluid to create pressure within the pump.Ordered these from here, because they cost WAY more utilizing cub cadets "Service" website. They came quickly, and went on pretty easy. You only need a 1/2" socket, with a 3" extension to remove the wheel. then pry the old seal out making sure to only pry up top. Pre oil the axle and seal, and slide it on. You have to seat it with something, so i used a small piece of wood. Filled the rear end up with fluid, and away it went. No more leaks!!!!

This fit perfectly on my cub cadet LTX 1042 KW.
This product saved me over $200. My transmission was leaking to the point where it was unusable. As a last ditch effort I bought these seals. I replaced the old seals by watching a YouTube video (this is essential because you can easily damage your transmission). In order to get these seals to seat properly, I had to put the old seals on the outside so that I could tap the new ones into place. Washers would be better but I didn't have any that were the right size.

Doesn't fit Cub Cadet xt2
I'm sure the seal is fine for most lawn tractors. But it specifically lists my xt2 kw46 lawn mower but it does not fit. I've replaced several axle seals over the years. It should have been a five minute job. I've now ruined both seals. To be fair, I have since ordered the seal from the cub cadet website and received an identical seal, which didn't fit either. Looking at various forums, I'm not alone for this particular seal and lawn mower.
