I have been suffering of dandruff for years. I can’t believe I finally found a shampoo that remove the flakes and itchiness. I wash my scalp with it every other day and results are fantastic. I use another moisturizing shampoo from the same brand for the rest the hair. Recommended !

It’s been really hard for me to buy a product that helps with my dandruff. I recently changed to this because my original shampoo changed ingredients and it dried my hair out. I get dandruff from my scalp being too oily, for contents my hair gets oily so quick that if I don’t wash it for 1 day my dandruff comes back. This shampoo has changed that, and it doesn’t strip my hair from its natural oils. My hair is so healthy it’s been a long time since I seen my hair look this healthy. I also want to be fully honest, I use this shampoo only for my scalp, that’s what I was instructed by a hairstylist, for the rest of my hair I use the aqua blue TPH shampoo and conditioner.Product description:The smell is similar to lavender smell but a little different. I had to get use to it, I’m sensitive to smell so at first it gave me a headache. The size it is small, but the shampoo lasts me 3 months and it works, I use it every other day on my scalp. The shampoo doesn’t get foamy so you might feel like it’s not enough, I’m still adjusting to that part (I’ve been using it for 6 months).

Works great! Strong, so it’s best to only use once or twice a week until you know how your scalp can handle it. Safe for color treated hair. Cleared my husbands scalp issues with sebum, itching, and smelly scalp. I researched a lot before deciding on this one. I will buy again and I do recommend this product.

I've had dry scalp/dandruff for years and years, and I've never found anything that worked well to fix it. It comes and goes, sometimes going away on its own for months, but it came back with a vengeance a while back so I thought it was time to try something new. Well, this *did* work, and worked well. I was of course skeptical of the good reviews, because different things will work differently for everyone. But it really did banish my scalp issues! Now, some caveats. One, it didn't work - at least for me - immediately. I thought maybe I detected a tiny difference after the first wash, but that was probably wishful thinking. But after about three I was able to see a small change. And after using it for a month, about 2 washes a week, flaking and itchiness were gone. Amazing!Now on to caveat two. This stuff is not color safe. It's not advertised as such, so I only reserved one star. But just be very aware that if you have colored hair, you may see a lot come out when you rinse after using this. I've had magenta hair for several years now, so I'm quite used to the "life cycle" of the color, specifically how long it tends to bleed out in the shower. Luckily I started using this a few weeks before getting my color redone, so it was already faded quite a bit, and a little pick me up with some dye in my conditioner helped bring it back a little. But I was rather shocked with how much color came out with this shampoo, long after color had *stopped* coming out with my normal shampoo. But this did lead me to find out how long the effects of the Davines lasted. I believe I used it for about 6 weeks before getting my color done. I stopped immediately once I had fresh color, and my scalp was actually okay for another month. After that the dryness and itching starting to creep back, but it wasn't until about 2 months that it was really bad (which is now, argh). So after about 6 weeks of use, 2x a week, the effects lasted a month with no use. Not too shabby (but clearly not a forever cure, which I wasn't really expecting).Caveat three: yep, it doesn't smell great. Definitely has an old-fashioned, grandma's house quality to it. It's not the worst smell ever, but it isn't pleasant either. It doesn't seem to linger in my hair for *too* long, and is certainly gone by the next day. It's easy enough for me to ignore, though, so I'm not taking a star away. But Davines, if you could improve the scent that would be fabulous.The color issue is a bummer, and it's frustrating to have to compromise. But as this is the only thing I've found that really truly works on my scalp, I'm going to stick with it for now. It may mean my expensive pink hair doesn't stay as vibrant for quite as long, but if my scalp isn't driving me insane that's a trade I'll make. If this shampoo was color safe, and the scent were better, I would consider it perfect. As it stands I'll definitely keep using this for now, but it's not quite The One.

Long story short: It works. Can you believe that? It works! Bye bye snow in the winter, snow in the summer, snow on my black shirts, and snow on my dark hair! I come out clean and safe! Hooray!!Short story long: I have (or may I say, "I had") a crazy dandruff hair and even though I tried so many shampoos, from cheap to expensive, from "they all say it works" to "I don't believe her, but whatever" and nothing works. However when I found an article on Refinery29, my instinct told me to try it out. And something to keep in mind, when someone talks about their instinct, they mean business. The first time it didn't work and I was a bit worried but it worked right after the second time on the second day! That's all I need! Raise to the good lord! For your information, I did what others suggested. I left the shampoo on my hair while I was showering my body, then washed it clean and applied conditioner later. The smell doesn't stink. It's the herbal earthy smell, that kind of medication shampoo's smell. The only difference is it works. After that up to now, I don't have to use the shampoo anymore. I probably will just wait until I get those dandruff again. But maybe I won't?No more the-boyfriend-needs-to-check-my-black-clothes-before-entering-anywhere, no more the-boyfriend-asks-why-don't-you-just-wear-white. I'm now proudly whip my hair back and forth.

I've gone through a bunch of different anti-dandruff shampoos to try and deal with my dry scalp and dandruff and nothing worked until I started using this. My stylist noticed and was pleased to comment on how much my scalp had improved. The scent is also far and away the best-smelling of all the shampoos I've tried, too. No feeling like I just took a chemical bath with this one.

Works better than prescription for psoriasis. A bottle lasts me for 9 month. It is really potent so no need to use all the time. Make sure to leave it on for 5 minutes before rinsing.

Wenn Ich euch sage, dass Ich wirklich Jahrelang mit trockener Kopfhaut bis hin zu starker Schuppenflechte zu kämpfen hatte BIS Ich dieses Shampoo auf Empfehlung eines guten Freundes gekauft habe mein Ich das vollkommen ernst!Das Shampoo hat nach der dritten Nutzung bei mir jeden Anschein von Schuppenflechte entfernt und meine Kopfhaut juckte kein Stück mehr!Ich habe schon etliche Shampoos auf Empfehlungen von Ärzten, Apothekern, Dermatologen etc. getestet und keins hat jemals so den Job erfüllt wie dieses Shampoo!Starke Kaufempfehlung selbst wenn der Geruch etwas Gewöhnungsbedürftig und der Preis relativ hoch angesetzt ist.
