I have not tried I use a resist

Let paint dry first and then Iron with a cloth over the painted area making sure to move the iron no steam I wash my fabric before I paint on it

Q: Are these concentrated in a way that you add water to dilute them? Or do you use them straight from the bottle?

It depends on the effect you want. I think they are often used straight from the bottle, but for a watercolor effect they can be diluted. The small pack is a great way to just try them out. A little goes quite a way with these.

Q: Can this be used on silk charmeuse?

I have very limited experience with only cotton. Check out the Dharma website.
